What is the role of Satsang in a Vaishnavs daily schedule ? Is it one of the most important ingedients of our do today life or an activity one can indulge in when one has free time ? 'Chalo aaje jarak free che to Satsang kari laaiyye'

Respected Snehalbhai,
Dont mind if I tell little hard to digest, but as stated - jiva swabhavath dushta, then why should we fall in mukharta dosh when we know all what is true and what is wrong. Shri aacharyaji has cleared everything in thy literature, also all thy Swavanshaj balak have done ample, and eenif someone does not know any rule or any basic of Pushtimarga Thy is so kind that thy never leaves sharnagat, not to ramanand pandit or not to even most devoted.
I know only we have to remain in thy sharana . So keep no conflicts no, criticism , no chatting but do only chanting . And afterall anugraha pustimarge niyamak iti stithi, so why we try useless, better try which is worth. JSK. Dr.Swetal D. Bhavsar. Go to Top of Page

Jai Shree Krishna

Dr. Saab, the idea hear is not to criticise, but to highlight the need for Satsang as an important actitivity in our daily life.  While it is obvious that one ought to do satsang daily, still how many of us really indulge in it on a day to day basis ????

Satsang, is like seva, and in todays socio-cultural ambience in becomes all the more important that we ensure that we do Satsang daily in our family. A few minutes a day before going to sleep indulging in Satsang, doing bhagwad smaran and sharing our thoughts with our kin, ensures harmony in the family, proper understanding of our marg and kindles bhakthi in the younger generation. Hence, it is of utmost importance that we inculcate the practice of satsang in our families on a day to day basis.

I have being reading this topic since it started,
but couldn’t find a good reply.

I have learnt a lot from satsang, so for vaishnavs like me satsang is necessity.
I make a point that weather I do satsang or not but defiantly read so I can learn.

In today’s world if you can get knowledge from website like PUSHTIKUL, we are blessed.

Jai Shree Krishna

Very very true Manoj bhai.
In fact Satsang has been the marg darshak to many of us Vaishnavs, who had deviated from the marags sidhaants. It is through Satsang that many of us have regained our selves and through the grace of Shree Vallabh and Shree Thakorji, and the Prama bhagwadiya vaishnavs realised the adsolute devinity of the marg.

However, today satsang has become durlabh, and one has to indulge in reading only.

It is indeed a devine blesing and bhagwad prerna that sites such as Pushtikul and Yamna offer us Vaishnavs and opportunity to do satsang. Prabhu truely is krupalu, look at his ways of using technology too for his sevaks.

Jjsg, Dhara this topic is reopened for you.
Satsang…for me, maan mile ishta mile mile bhajanras rit tahike sang kijiye khaan paan aru prit….satsang is what ....to make our bijbhaav strong, to keep our aavesh of pushtimargiya intact, ruchi of seva and smaran to keep on increasing. According to mahaprabhuji’s vaani not by one’s ownself but one who is on the right path; does seva, smaran and satsang, can give others satsang.

Nivedanam tu smartavyam sarvada tadrushaijanai:…true identity of tadrushya is necessary. After getting true satsang , one should be more careful as adure viprakarshe va yatha chhitam na dushyati….(bhaktivardhini}.
We vaishnavs are naad srishti- clear direction towards satsang, vaishnav’s kripa..

Naamkirtan ShriKrishnanu , kaikalma sahu sadhan tyajya; bhavsagar tarava tani , sahune e sukhpath pajya.- Bhaktakavi Shri. Dayarambhai.

We get many examples from vaarta prasangs like kachi angakhari khayine satsang mate gaya .
Naam tano chhe moto mahima Shri Gokulnathjino gaje re, smaran kirtan karo e prabhuna dukhada sagda bhaje re. (not laukik but alaukik dukh).

Divase sarva shyama rupras tano jash gayeji- Vallabhakhyan 6.

For true satsang one should have Shri Gurudev’s and Shri Yamunaji’s kripa and we should be in touch of our Shri Gurudev and should obey Guruvaani.

I want to give one example of laukik- if some one has a loved one, and if he or she wants to share his or her loved one’s talks with someone, for that, even many hours are not enough to satisfy that person. Similarly, our prabhu is a great premi so we never get satisfied speaking about his naam, rup, gun and leela.

JAY SHRI KRISHNA.

Satsang refreshes our memories, reminds us what we have to do and enlights views on SHRI THAKURJI'S LEELA.

I deeply believe it helps to the new and old vaishnavs.

Jai Shree Krishna

The power of Satsang is such that many of us Vaishnavs have got into the mainstream of Pushtimarg only because of Satsang. However, this fundamental day to day phenomenon slowly seems to be fading away from our households, I sincerely appeal to all Vaishnavs to incorporate this devine informal form of seva of Shree Thakorji into a our homes once again.

Jai Shri Krishna,

Bhai, i think you have hit the right button. Speaking for myself especially, i don't actually realise or recognise that satsang is seva and that it incorporates many other types of seva and bhakti in itself. Due to ignorance, this element is placed quite low in the list of priorities.

Only now i am having some glimpses of understanding when your post has made me reflect on all these satsangs, where the vaishnavs are being kind and are constantly enlightening us through their experiences and knowledge and then there are those who are prompting for such  questions and answers by being inquisitive and asking the relevant questions.

In such satsangs we get the opportunity to do kirtan, sumiran/smaran (names, leelas, etc), darshans, etc. who knows through which key (medium) the lock will open, so it is very critical to be vigilant and constantly make effort to take part in satsangs and indeed try to awaken the sleeping inquisitiveness and enthusiasm for such truly amazing satsangs.

"Tyajo mana Hari Vimukhana ko sang, jaa ke sangata kubudhi upjata, padata bhajana me bhang"

Best Wishes
jagdish

Shree Govardhannath ni jai , Shyam Sundar Shree Yamne Maharani ni Jai, Vallabhadhish ni Jai,

Jai Shree Krishna Vaishnavs,

Everyday you need to watch news or read a newspaper to be in touch with the worldly affairs. Dont you think then that Satsang is needed in the same way to maintain your touch with spirituality... Instead of wasting time in knowing more about what celebrities do or which movie hit a block buster.. read and listen about something which will elevate your soul and love for Thakorji. When you die , all you take along with you is your karmas. Shree Krishna has himself told that those who have worked towards upliftment of soul spiritually even if they do not attain moksh in the current life.. their work done towards upliftment will not go wasted.. in next life one will be that much closer to GOD. Every day we forget that the clock is ticking and that there is no certainity if one will see tomorrow... so what could be a better way to make the best of your time then doing satsang... feel the positive vibrations which flow in the palce where satsangs take place.. u will feel GOD himself present there.... And where there is GOD how can that place be called timepass.... its a place necessary abode for each soul.. its where you will merge with Thakorji ... forever.........
