Jai Shree Krishna

In Shikshapatra 14, Shree Hariraiprabhucharan, has highlighted three types of Anyshrays.

They are....

1. Anyashray through Thoughts (Mana)

2. Anyshray through Speech (vaani)

3.Anyashray through Action (Kriya)

Can some one give examples of these from the 84/252 varthas, for better and deeper understanding of these three types of Anyashrays ????

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh

Very beautiful vachnamrut of shrigurucharan found out by haripriyaji to explain the anyashray. i remember here 1 geet, somewhere heard

"JE MAN, VACHAN, KARM THI PAVITRA CHHE, TE CHARITRA VAAN HI SADAA MAHAAN CHHE"

 Man -- in thought,

Vachan-- by speech

and Kriya-karma-- by deeds. These also creates anyashray.

Jai Shree Krishna

Good inputs Vaishnavs.

Now lets move on to the next Shikshapatra......

Shikshapatra 15

Shlokas: 8

Subject: Bhagwadsmaran - To be continuosly engrossed in Shree Thakorji

Highlights:

In this Shikshapatra, Shree Harirai Prabhucharan advices us on how to remain/retain unlfinching faith at the Lotus feet of Shree Mahaprabhuji.  In order to achieve such dhrudta, we should always indulge in remembering the innumerable leelas of Shree Mahaprabhuji and Shree Thakorji, always visualise devine swaroopas and recollect their devine qualities.

One should to always do smaran and chintan of leeals, swaroopa and gunas.

In this Shikshpatra, the three entities - Smaran, Chintan and Dhyan have been defined by Shree Harirai prabhu.

Can anyone expalin them ????

Jai Shree Krishna

The exapansion/Growth of ones Spiritual intellect  wtihout any special efforts is SMARAN.

Conscious, effort oriented actions dircted towards Spiritual gain is CHINTAN

The Hypothetical visualisation of Shree Thakorji is DHYAN.

Jai Shree Krishna

The next Shikshapatra........Shikshapatra 16

No. of Shlokas: 10

Subject: Chintanivrrutti - Solution to get rid of Worries.

Highlights:

In this Shikshpatra Shree Hariraiprabhucharan highlights the fact that in this Kalikaal, we all are continuosly engrossed in many worries, and these worries lead to ashanthi  and tensions. This is most evident in our lifestyles today. And obiviously such under such stressful ambience, it becomes difficult to remember and do smaran of Shree Thakorji continuously.

Shree Hariraiprabhucharan has given solution to get rid of such stress driven chinta way back in V.S. 1647, when the Shikshapatras were created by him. Prabhucharan advises us about the 4 main duties of a Pushitmargiya jeev.... They are...

1. Unflinching faith in Shree Mahaprabhuji

2. Seva of shree Thakorji

3. Bhagwad smaran - Continuously immersed in the Thoughts of Shree Thakorji

4. Company of Bhagwadiyas - Spiritually motivated beings.

If one were to follow these four main duties then all worries, all kinds of stress, (and hence the various diseases related to it) all of them simply vanish.

Vaishnavs, in describing the four main duties, Shree Hariraiji has clearly distinguished the need for both Seva and smaran. Not any one of them. And I sincerely appeal to the samast Vaishnav parivaar to heed to this advise with fail and without any delay. Most of our homes have Shree Thakorji biraajmaan and most often than not the swaroops are Pusht. however, with changing lifestyles, Seva has got relegated as a houseold duty, and done by the mother/wife/sisiters alone and we men have restricted ourselves to mere darshan alone.  But it is my sincere appeal that one should make it a point to do seva of Shree Thakorji to what ever extant as possible  - May be to participate till mangla daily, may be to participate on Sundays, etc. If we have the will, surely we can do it. The devine experience of doing seva of Shree Thakorji, the sparsh of shree ang and prabhus unique waysof communication with us will and does provide and offer the ultimate solution to us, the jagruti of Nishkaam bhaav and a ojective view at our lives. When Seva in itself becomes our objective, then everything else becomes subjective and this in itself is solution enough to many of our chintaas.

We all take a break form our work, go on holidays etc. why not take a holiday and do seva for a week ???? Believe me the loukik sukh one will experience of it is far greater than any holiday one can have.

Vaishnav bandhus, please please please try to inculcate the habit of doing Seva of Shree Thakorji, as much as you can, to what ever extant one can not just financialy but also physicaly and if one has swaroopa at ones home then most certainly the seva of the sevya swaroopa and see life transform for yourself.

One may have umpteen pressures - the pressure of catching the morning train, the pressure of a client meeting, the stress of project completion etc. etc. but to get up, spend a few minutes doing the mangla seva of the sevya swaroopa and then to leave for our daily routine will make all of them vanish, what better way can there be than to start our day spending those few valuable minutes with our beloved Shree Prabhu, Purnapurushottam yashodatsanglalit Shree Thakorji. Induge in this devine activity and see how all other pressures and stress vanish on their own.

Note:

My humble apologies if I have said anything out of the way. May I also clarify that the above observations are my own and the thoughts expressed are my personal reactions and views. The intention here is not to criticise anyone or anybody and if I have done so, then personally apologise for the same.

Jai Shri Krishna,

Shreekant bhai, thankyou for excellent explanation/translation of Shikshaptra and please dont say sorry, your tone is encouraging in asking people to do both seva/smaran/satsang etc.

as you correctly mentioned that seva/satsang both are equally imp. but with times newer generation will understand Pushtimarg if its explained to them nicely.

Jai Shree Krishna

Manish  bhai, I always beleive that there is the postivie side to everything and we must project that and spread the message of Pushtimarg with a positive frame work of mind. Through my personal expreience I have seen great families having very devine Seva at their Homes, to day disintegrate and hardly indulge in Seva, one of the root cause for this has been extensive criticism to the younger generation, without sincere efforts towards inculcating our margs basics. This has led many to deviate from the grace of Pushtimarg. On the other hand positive aproach, step by step guidance and vivid explanation of  the marg by sharing and narrating the 84/252 Vaishnav varthas has led of to the 'give me more' syndrome from many a youth of  the newer generation.

It is said that you can lead the Horse to the pond, to drink water is its own wish. If though our Satsang and our knwoledge sharing, if we can even direct our friends towards the Pond it is enough. With the krupa of Shree Vallabhkul and the devine grace of Shree Thakorji, he will if destined will move towards the pond....

Jai Shree Krishna

let us no move on to the next Shikshapatra .....Shikshapatra 17

The no.of shlokas in this Shikshapatra are 13.

Subject: Thougts of Renouncement and Surrender.

In this Shikshapatra we are advised to renounce all that is ours to Shree Thakorji and by such a surrender, to ensure that, that which we thought was ours is effectively  brought to devine use of Shree Thakorji. While the 16th Shikshapatra we are guided towards ways of getting rid of chinta, one is still embroiled in the three doshas, that is kaal dosh (Time oriented), Sang dosh (Company oriented) and Avishwaas( lacking belief/trust). One can be rid of these three doshas too.....

Renouncememnt and Surrender are of Three types...

1. Renouncement of the self seeking pleasures towards ones own body, thoughts and for the Family and acceptance of /surrender of these pleasures to Shree Thakorji, for Parbhus sukh.  Basically here in, the advise is straight forward and simple, our actions should such that we should always be immersed in thought of Shree Thakorji. Say for example, when in market, you see fresh and delicious mangos, ones immidiate thought ought to be towards offering them to Shree Thakorji, rather than seeking personal pleasure and savouring of their taste. Here in we renounce our personal desire to have mango and surrender our thoughts towards the sukh of Shree Thakorji.

2. Renouncement of laukik sneh - Love and profits.  However, One ought to surrender to Devine love for Shree Thakorji and its rewards.

3. Renouncement of Bad/evil company and Surrender/acceptance/indulgance in Satsang - Devine thought sharing platforms.

While the Ideal situation is Continuously indulge in Seva, Smaran and Satsang without even worrying about ones livelihood,  To indulge in same and to also do a livelihood activity is still acceptable.

lst but not the least ...in the last shloka of this Shikshapatra, Shree Harirai prabhucharan has clearly stated that ...PRABHU KRUPA IS POSSIBLE ONLY  IF THERE IS GURU KRUPA.

AND THE FINAL GURU FOR ALL OF US IS SHREE MAHAPRABHUJI. WE SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE UNFLINCHING FAITH IN HIS CHARAN KAMAL - LOTUS FEET AND ABSOLUTE BELIEF IN HIM.
