jai jai shri gokulesh

love will not develop automatically. when we use our tann, mann and dhan for shri prabhu then our love and bhavana will become dradh.

mahatmya gyaan sahit sudradh sarvottadhik sneh is bhakti --- so when we have mahatmya gyaan we will become krutaarth abt shri prabhujis swaroop and then using our tann, mann and dhan for shri prabhu we should do seva with love that would arise gradually.

jai jai shri gokulesh.

Jay Jay Shri Gokulesh,

Mahatmya gyaan sahit sudradh sarvottadhik sneh is bhakti

Yes, This is absolutly .....

Mahatmya Gyaan = What Gyaan? , Whos Mahatmya?

sudradh sarvottadhik sneh  == Suddh means what? Sarvo thi Uttam and adhik means what?

Jai jai shri gokulesh,

Shri Mahaprabhuji gives the definition of devotion in aapshri's work Shastrartha-Nibandha as under:

"Mahatmyajnana-purvastu, sudrdhah sarvatodhikah;

 sneho bhaktiriti proktah, taya muktirna canyatha"

Meaning: When one has developed deep-rooted and utmost love for Bhagavan, preceded by the knowledge of the greatness of the lord, it is called Devotion to Bhagavan. One can obtain salvation only by this devotion and in no other way.

Jay Jay Shree Gokulesh,

In clear words Shri Vallabhacharyaji  says :

Sastram  Avagatya  Mano-Vag-Dehaih  Krishnah  Sevyah

Meaning :-> Shodasagranth, Nibandha, Shrimad Bhagavatji etc, in which doctrines

of devotional path of Pushti have been explained. Studying and Understanding Scriptures in a Good Way one should perform Shri Krishna's Seva through Mind , Speech  And Body ( ?).

Aaj sabhi ko Bhakti ki Baaten karni hain, lekin jab karne ki baat aati hain to ??????

       The root of the word ' Bhakti ' is ' Bhaj '  ( dhatu ) of the Sanskrit Language. It means :-> to serve. Bhakti means Shri Krishna's service performed with Love and Knowledge of the greatness ( Mahatmaya ) of Shri Krishna.

     The knowledge of the doctrines of  the Marga gives an idea as to how the Marga is and how it is not , how to behave in it and how not to behave, , where it leads and where it does not lead and so on. The dry knowledge of the doctrines does not enhance the devotional sentiment towards Bhagvan.The enhancement of devotional sentiment is possible only by hearing, singing and remembering Bhagvan's  Leela, merits, names etc............Just as people who are fond of cricket, Sangeet  or Painting like to discuss their dear subjects and read books of these subjects in the company of the people of Similar nature ( Sujati Bhaav) so as to have more liking and inspiration for their dear subjects.

 Bhakti = Mahatmyajnana purvastu Sudradhah Sarvatoadhikah Sneho

Bhakti = Mahatmayjnana +  Sneh  = Bhakti.

Jai Shri Krishna,

I just finished reading this book, and of the many things that are so well described this one stands out

=============================================================

"Sri-Vallabhacarya’s Faith also is an Intelligent Faith and not a Blind Faith. He believes in
human efforts, both physical and mental. His famous dictum :

"Prayatna-paryantam Jiva-krtyam"38

meaning "One has to try one’s utmost" categorically lays this down. "Where human efforts
end, there divine efforts begin."
This is a very important truth. Human efforts are a vital
link in the chain. Without them the chain will sap asunder. It is only after aIl the human
energy has been spent that the divine energy wiIl begin to flow in. When a seed has once
been sown by human hands, then alone all the natural forces necessary to multiply it are
set free. Without the seed being sown, .aIl these latent forces are helpless. The human
efforts alone wiIl open the doors for the divine efforts to come in. Faith in the divine is the
continuation of the faith in the human. God helps the helpless. But this helplessness is of
a sterner stuff. It arises after aIl the available help in the form of all possible human efforts
is totally expended. idle faith is no faith according to Sri-Vallabhacarya. It is another form
of mental inertia. It hinders rather than helps. Seva or selfless service is his ideal of life.
This Seva means incessant activity. It is traditionally reported that Sri-VaIlabhacarya slept
only for two hours. And at times he had to deny even this lit tIe luxury to himself.

’1 have done my little duty with my limited strength. Now God out of his infinite Grace is sure to do
his duty with his unlimited strength."
Such is the nature of Sri-Vallabhacarya’s Faith."

Jai jai shri gokulesh

Umangji and manishji, Thanx for the beautiful explanation.

Haripriyaji, with my limited knowledge the dhan(wealth) which we are using to serve Shri Thakoreji should be our own, should not be earned in a wrong way and should not be borrowed from anyone.  Also if we have money and we are acting miser then it is not correct. As whatever the jeeva has he dedicates it to Shri Thakoreji after taking Bhramasambandh.

"more you commit your tan maan dhan resources to seva of thakurji more you will recieve his kripa".....quoted by Jigerji.

For this quote i said i dont agree with Dhan coz if the person is not having much money then he cannot effort much luxurious comfort for Shri Thakoreji so that does not mean that his devotion is inferior to the person who offers all the luxurious comfort. We all know that we try to offer best to our Thakoreji.

Please feel free to correct...

jai jai shri gokulesh

dhan does not mean money alone but all the material property that we possess. so we should serve shri prabhu with all the property we have no matter how concise its size may be. it does not matter whether a person is rich or  is able to meet just his  basic needs.

jai jai shri gokulesh.
