Jai Shree Krushna,
Well we should first understand what is the meaning of 'Krushna'. Krushna means who is 'Purnanand' and 'Sarva Samarthyavan'.Shree Mahaprabhuji has said that we should not remain out of Bhagwad naam even for the time 'rai no dano' stays on cows horn. In todays time we find this really difficult. So whenever we meet a vaishnav we get a chance to do samran of that supreme being. Krushna name itself gives anand to us because Krushna is Purnanand. Therefore, by bidding 'Jai Shree Krushna' even we get anand and even the opposite vaishnav gets anand. So we should bid 'Jai Shree Krushna'whenever we meet a vaishnav.
Jai Shree Krushna

Jay shree Krushna
During the pratham milan, When Shree Mahaprabhuji in bhutal first time met Shree Govardhannathji at Shree Giriraj, when shree acharya saw a first glance of shrinathji's swaroop then shree acharyaji with his prem bhavna, spoke loudly "JAi Shree Krusna". At that time all vaishnavas presently at that moment, who were watching this divine moment, heard this "JAI SHREE KRUSHNA" said by Shree Mahaprabhuji. From that onwards, all vasihnavas started with this BHAGWAD SMARAN.
Pls correct if i am wrong
Jay Shree Krushna

when we say Jayshrikrishna to any one what actually we are saying is " tamara hrudaya ma birajta Bhagvan Shri Krishna no Jay ho ! "
and this is why we do not say Jayshrikrishna in front of Shri Thakorji or to Shri Vallabhkul.

Dear Vaishnavs
I Am in agreement with Bindibens view.
In the Gita Shree Krishna says
"A part of my energy is present in all living entities"
Jai Shree Krishna

Jai Shree Krishna
Well bindi ben your almost right...but there is a small change to it. Atleast this is what i heard in a satsang....
When we say Jai Shree Krishna, we are actually acknowledging in front of the other vaishnav, that we have become Shree Krishnas sevak, for through Naam nivedan / Brahamsamband, we have given everything thats is ours to shree thakorji and are living only for his well being, his Jai Jai kar. Hence we say Jai Shree Krishna.

Jayshrikrishna,
Shreekant bhai you have explained a very good concept & i wish to live up to it. however non pushtimargiya vaishnavas use the terms as well.

Yes Vithalcharanji I am interested the source of the prasang you have quoted, I have not come across this and would be interested in the source. In my reasearch on the subject I have come across the concept relayed by Bindiji and it seems much more closer and I did come across the concept relayed by Shreekantji but more or less the first concept by Bindiji has prevailed.
