Vaishnavacharyaa Goswami 108 Shri Indirabetiji Mahodaya, lovingly known as 'JIJI' , is a prominent spiritual leader of Hinduism as well as Pushtimarg. She is a revered icon of a multitude of devotees worldwide.

Pujya Jiji is of the fourteenth generation in the lineage of the great scholar, philosopher and mystic of Sanatan Dharm (Hinduism), Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji who institutionalized PUSHTIMARG - a path of devotion that practices unconditional, selfless love for Lord Krishna without seeking anything in return.

Pujya Jiji was born on September 3, 1939. She was initiated into learning scriptures by her scholar father. She extended her study of scriptures such as Vedas and Upanishads under the able guidance of Sri Narhari Maharaj and Shri Nagardas Bambhania. She earned her Masters in Sanskrit and latter attained a title of a Scholar (Acharya). Today, She is a well respected scholar of scriptures. To spiritually enlighten her devotees, she regularly delivers discourses on scriptures such as, Shrimad Bhagavat and Shrimad Bhagavat Geeta. To research and spread Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji's philosophy and theology she has founded a Shrimad Vallabh Acharya Research Academy ( SAVARA). She has authored several books on religion and philosophy. She is an inspirer and spiritual benefactor of many temples and religious organizations around the world.

Pujya Jiji is a well known devotional poetess. Her poetry is an imaginative awareness of her devotional experiences and overflowing with her tenderness, humility, selfless benevolence and her omnipresent love for all beings. Her creations are compiled in three books.

Pujya Jiji, forever believing in lighting a candle instead of cursing the darkness, has dedicated her life to humanitarian causes. Her philanthropic initiative, inspiration, guidance and persistence are instrumental in impressive performance of numerous social welfare institutions, including Human Enrichment by Love & Peace (HELP) of USA / UK, brought into existence under her leadership. She caters to the needy and helpless through health care facilities as well as mobile eyecare, dentalcare, physiotherapy and blood donation camps in the economically backward areas of India.

Her notable natural calamity relief efforts include rehabilitation of villages, setting up shelters and schools for orphan children, distributing food, medicine and cloths in the flood - earthquake - cyclone stricken areas of India.

She leads a simple, selfless, celibate and purposeful life. She lives in the hearts of her of thousands of devotees. She can relate to people of all ages. Her humility, wisdom and love touches many many hearts. She has been successful in initiating many souls onto the path of devotional spirituality. She practices what she preaches.
