Jai Jai ShriGokulesh

"Gurubinu Bhavanidhi tarahi na koi, Jo biranchi Shankar sam hoi" None can cross this sea of existence without the help of a Sadguru, be it were Lord Brahma or Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is the Guru of the three worlds yet he feels the need of a Guru and though Lord Brahma is the progenitor of this creation he too cannot do anything without the Guru. Goswami Shri Tulsidasji has thus glorified the importance and indispensability of a Guru. Guru Purnima is the day of expressing our faith and gratitude towards our .Guru is linked with a full moon and is as complete as a full moon night. One who is incomplete cannot become a Guru. A Sadguru is complete, and Brahman is also complete. Hence it is said that "Guru sakshat Para Brahma" i.e. the Guru is the visible form of the Para Brahma, the Supreme Creator or the Supreme Being.

The other implication is that the Guru is the one who illuminates. Only he can truly be called a Guru, who with the light of his knowledge dispels the darkness of ignorance from the disciple. Even the sun illuminates but it is not possible to look directly at the sun, especially at noon when it is shining at its optimum brightness. We cannot even glance at the sun.

Hence the light of a Guru is similar to that of a full moon. It can be looked at directly without hurting your eyes and not only that but it is also very pleasing to our eyes. Thus the sight of the Sadguru too is very comforting and pleasing to the eyes of the disciples. He bathes his disciples in the encouraging light of his knowledge and enlightens their world. Thus today on the occasion of Guru Purnima, in accordance with our great tradition we gratefully remember and bow before Jagadguru Shri Krishna Parmatma, Shri Vallabh acharya,Shri Devkinandan acharya, Shri Vitthalrai Guru
