isnt nav villa, when thakorji played raas? because i think in pushtimarg we cant say NAVRATRI because this Navratri is played for other demi god (mataji) and we shouldnt even play if we play that means we are doing anyashrya because when we play we play and surround the idol and picture of mataji so its not allowed to play, but we should only and only play for thakorji. during this nav villa we offer different bhog to thakorji and we offer CHAPANA vastra ( one with soneri or jari dots)
i guess thats only thing i know sorry

Nav-Villas is always on Aso Shud 1st to Aso Shud 9th. Nav-Villas started because when Vraj-Bhakto went to see Thakorji by creating an excuse, and the excuse was to go to do Devi Puja and with this excuse, Vraj-Bhakta as they were of Nav Prakar and hense they did nav prakar samagri with Tan, Maan and Dhaan and made Thakorji happy (Prasanna).And in the evening they did "Dhing Ashan" dance to rejoice with Thakorji. This Bhavana is now known as "Nav-Villas".
This bhavna was first revealed by Shree Prabhucharan Shree Hariraiji in his Nav-villas Bhavna Padas. This Padas are by Shree Hariraiji as it has "RASIK" as his personal chaap. In His padas one can easily see these nine types of Sakhi doing what their manorath according to their prakar. So this way we have nine different bhog and nine different shringar and colours for the villas and mainly Chappa na vastras are used.
This all started with Devi Puja and then Nav Bhava Vraj Bhakto who had to use Nav-ratri as an excuse to do khel with thakorji.
It was Purshottamji who said that for Pushti Jiva and as Nav ratri is "anashray" he enhansed what Shree Hariraiji has revealed about Na-villas and asked all the vaishnava to do Raas-Vihar on Nav-Villas.
So Nav-Villas is about 315 years old on bhutal.

Ok, your refering to Nav-villaas coinciding with the Navrathri- sorry it didnt strike - Should have understood from the dates. I thought it was
some new kind of get-together vaishnavs at Uk had and hence was curious to know. Anyways thanks for the information

No I did not say that Nav-Villas is co-insiding with Nav raatri, I have actually in my posting given the date of Nav-Villas but the date when Parishad is doing Nav-Villas is only dependant to availibilty of the Venue, that is, the availibility of the Hall where we all Vaishnava get together and enjoy Nav-Villas and as it is Nav-villas is not a new manorath and Parishad has been presenting this utsava since it was established in London and more or less we also have enjoyed the presence of Vallabhkul Balak to grace this utsava. There is no difference from what you are doing in India aor anywhere else.

The dates are given do coinside with Nav-Villas date I don't understand your comments Shreekantji, please explain what do you mean by the date?

Pushtidasji, what i meant was that your dates for this times celebration co-incide with those of Navrathri. Hence i had this doubt that Nav-villas was something new being celebrated by Vaishanvs at Uk, which is what led me to overlook the Nav-villaas initially. I am not saying that you have made a mistake, but form my end i got confused because of the co-inicdence of the dates. my apologies for the same.

Chappa na Vastra was first made by Chandravaliji. She did Chappa ni Chundadi for Swaminiji and mostly the chapp was of Venuji and Surbhi Vach. Shree Swaminiji really loved it and asked Chandravaliji to make chappa na vastra for Shree Thakorji and the asked that she was to put her feet and hands imprint on Thakorji's vastra.
When Vastra was made, Swaminiji put her both sukomal chrnavind's print and hasta (hand) prints and then put 108 shree adhaar Oast (Lips) prints. This chappa na vastra become Shree Thakorji's favourite vastra.
Since then, all sakhi started making chappa na vastra and put their imprints as per their manorath.
So in Nav-villas all mukhiya (main) nine sakhis presented Shree Thakorji with Chappa na Vastra and hence this way secretly they told Thakorji about their manorath in Nav-villas, and this pranalika has been adopted in our seva prakar. Please refer to your "Guru Ghar" seva prakar and follow the chappana vastra colours.
