What is Shri Girirajji's Kunwara and Shri Yamunaji's Kunwara ?

I am new to this forum. However, I have been visiting the site for last 2 years and this is the first question I am posting. I enjoy the satsang online.

JSK, Gopi...

Jai Shree Krishna, Few days back I had an oppertunity to attend the Pravachan of the founder of this web site P.P.G. 108 Shri Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri in US. The topic was Govardhan Lila. And that's where I heard the Kunwara. I did not understand much about Kunwara and did not have time to ask Maharajshri. So if any one knows What is Kunwara and how it is differ from Chhapan bhog? Why it is important in our sect? Please let me know. Thanks... Gopi.

Jai Shree Krishna Gpoi Bhai, I can explain to the extent that Kunwara is different from chappan bhog to the extent that it is more like Annakut, only in this case i think only Sakhadi bhog is offered, Samagri from dood Ghar, Unsakhadi in samagri is not offered. Also there is extensive use of earthen ware, were in all the samagri is presented in a earthen ware. One distinguishing factor of kunwara is that like chappan bhog it is manorath offered to shree thakorji any number of time with a year itself, as it is at Shree Girirajji - During festivities time almost every weak there is the manorath of Kunwara. Kunwara is in this way different from Annakut which is offered to Shree Thakorji only once in a year.

jsk, kunwara is a manorath & it can be offered only by maharajshri in temples. kunwara is offered in earthen pots & it is only offered in multiples of 4: eg,4,8,16,24....etc. the prominent samagris offered in kunwara are sheera, thod, kheer, rabdi, laddu, etc.

Jai Shree Krishna, Thanks for the answers. Now I have following questions: - Why it has to be offered by Maharajshree? - Why it has to be in front of Girajji? - Why Sakhadi is not offered? - When and how this Manorath started? - What is the reason it has to be multiple of 4? Please reply. Thanks. JSK, Gopi.

Jai Shree Krishna Gopi bhai, while i may not be able to answer all your queries, let me clarify what best i know. Kunwara Manorath is not only offered to Shree Girirajji, but also takes place in any/many Havelis. Though i am not so sure, if this is ture, As a practice in a manorath where in Sakhadi bhog is offered to Shree Thakorji, it is done so only under the agya of Shree Maharajshree. However, it is true that if a manorath like thsi takes place at the Baithakji of Shree Mahaprabhuji, only The Vallabhkul has the right to do so, and it is only in their presence that Sakhadi bhog is offered to Shree Baithakji. In kunwara manorath Sakhadi is offered.
