Dear Anad, Answer is very simple... Who should touch the feet of Shri Gurudev First than Shri Thakorji cause our pushtimarg is Dutika Marg .. It means there is always someone in middle between us and Shri Thakorji. Shri Gurudev gaves us agya to do seva of Shri Thakorji and after doing seva with Bhav Shri Thakorji gaves us the Darshan and this is only possibled when gurudev given new Birth(ByGiving Brahmasambandh Mantra )to us and Shri Thakorji for Seva. There is one more slogan is famous of Sant. Kabir.. Guru Govind Dono Khade kake laagu paye .. Balhira Guru AApki Govind Diyo bataye... Jai Shree Krishna

Jai Shri Krishna, Happy New Year to all Vaishnavs. Suggestion. If visiting temples to do darshan of God and you see Mukhiyaji in front of God then please bow (Dantwat) to God not Mukhyaji as I have seen happening many times. GOD is greater then anyone and should be respected first in Temples. Only if away from God or after darshan closes please pay respect to the Mukhyaji's and other respected persons if you have to.

Jai Shree Krishna We have to bow to our Gurudev first. As "Shree Mahaprabhuji ni kani thi" we havebeen accepted by Thakorji.

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh, It is bit obvious that first to my own Shri Gurudev. As if we refer to the prasang of Damodardas Harsaniji when Shri Aacharyaji temni godi maa podhi ghaya hata, at that time, Shri Thakurji came and Damordardasji stopped Shri Thakurji saying Shri Mahaprabhuji is sleeping right now, please do not disturb, as ur much chanchal, and will break the sleep of Shri Aacharyaji. What this shows, that Shri Gurudev 1st then shri Thakurji as one quote been already given by Jatinbhai that " Guru Govind Dono Khade kake laagu paye .. Balhira Guru AApki Govind Diyo bataye... "

jai shri krishna, Jyare Shri thakorji, shri vallabhkul birajya hoy tyare Shrithakorji ni sanmukh ma Shri vallabhkulne hath pan na joday ke dandvat pan thay nahi. suprim shri thakorji che. evi j rite Shri vallabhkul ni sanmukh ma koi vaishnav ne pan hath jodi jaishrikrishna na karay. Shri thakorji ni sanmukh shri thakorji shivay koi ne hath joday nahi.

You should touch your gurudevs feet first be cause without him we would not have been eccepted by thakorji. As said above, "aa marg duti no chhe" without that we cannot get to thakorji.

Jai Shree Krishna Not only for Pushtimarg, but i think this holds good for all forms of / sects of Hinduism. The Shastras themselves prescribe this. Guru leads you to God, hence without guru, one cannot attain god. Hence even when they both are standing to gether, we pay reverence to Guru first, then only to Govind.
