Dan ekadashi to Indira ekadahi 15 days are considered as Dan na Divaso.
please explain more about dan lila & what we should do during these days ?
we offer 4 kind of dahi/goras why , what is the bhav behind it ?bindi bindi

Jai Jai Shri Gokulesh,
These days of daan is not a new concept. During these days, Shri Thakurji used to ask for daan from gopis, the goras daan. So we are not efficient to give daan to our Shri Thakurji, so Shri Gurudev itself is a Swaroop of Shri Thakurji, and our Shri Gurudev comes to us for daan. We offer daan to our Shri Gurudev these days. Suppose i am wrong please do correct me.

thakurji had taken goras daan from gopis to prevent them from selling milk,curd,etc. in mathura where the wicked kans used to live.
he did this at daan ghati.
during daan days,thakurji wears mukut very often,but without chotiji,with the bhaav that gopis might pull it when thakurji asks them for daan.

Re importance of Dan Ekadashi.
Dan Ekadashi no Mukhiya (Main) is Shri Chandravaliji so it is celeberated with her Bhav.
Only if few vaishnavs are more interested in this topic then will add more details to it.

Dear Friends,
Jai Shree Krishna,
During Daan Ekadasi we can give Daan to our Gurudev and he accepts it in his hands during these days.Unlike other days where Daan is kept in his feet.
Thus our Gurudev accepts it and we get Punaya as by givinbg Daan to our Gurudev we give it to Thakorji who readily accepts it so Daan Ekadasi is important.
I hope I'm right. Please do elaborate on this further.

on dan lila Shri Thakorji accepts dan of Goras from Gopijan.
what is Goras ?
Goras is dahi/ yogart.
in sanskrit Go = indriyo
i.e. indrioyo no ras is goras & we offering this to Shri Thakorji .

Dan is a very tricky subject to be discussed on the internet. A basic explanation has already been provided by others.
If we are to understand the bhav as described by Vasant bhai a forum is not the correct place. If a vaishanav is that interested then he should consult his guru. Who will inform/explain the bhav if the Guru feels that the vaishanav bhakti has a very solid foundation. All the readers here might not be deseriving of this knowledge or able to understand it.
If we perform Thakrujis seva and offer gorus to Thakurji then we have offered Dan. I disagree with Gopal bhai has said that only our Guru can offer Dan to Thakurji. I do not think that this is correct because when we take Bharama Sambhand our doshas have been removed and we have the 'samarath' ability ('we are efficient') to perform seva and offer bhog etc. Dan is an extension this.
Jigna > There is a difference beetween Dan and bhet. Only during the days of Dan can we offer Dan to our Gurudev in their hands. We should also offer bhet as per normal. Dan is extra.
I don't think its a question of getting punya. We offer Dan to our Gurudev with the spirit that we are offering Dan to Shree Vallabh and thus to Shree Thakurjis. So by offering Dan to our Gurudev we are offering it to Thakurji. Also the acceptance of Dan is optional. If I may put it like this our Gurudev is not obliged to accept Dan if he does not want to. If he does then we should feel thoroughly blessed.
