The bhavna behibd Jhariji is that of Yashodha Maiya. Hence we worship her in sowbhagyawati roop by wrapping the Red Cloth around it as her vastra, with the top cover typically signifying covering of the Head (Ghunghat).

Jay Shree Krushna
to the best of my knowledge the bhavana behind the JARIJI is as bellow
JARIJI in totality represents SHREE SWAMINIJI
THE LOTIJI (THE PHYSICAL FORM) represents SHREE CHANDRAVALIJI
THE water (jal) represents SHREE YAMUNAJI
and the NEVADO( THE RED CLOTH) represents SHRE RADHA SAHACHARIJI

Jai Shri Krishna,
Bhavna part is well described.
But to increase knowledge for all vaishnavs lets also discuss like if you have sevya swaroop at home how may jharis one should fill in one day?For your Thakurji.
I know many vishnavs who do 3 one doing Mangla one in Rajbhog (Or at Bhog time) and one at sen.
How many should be done? At home please not in Havelis as that is different.
