Jai shri krishna vaishnavs

Should we ever ALLOW ourselves to feel PROUD that we are a part of Pushtimarg and feel proud that shri vallabh is our guru?

pls answer

Very much. It is said that not by chance, but after many rebirths that one is born and detined to become a Vaishnav,with the good fortune of being able to have Brahmabambad and even more fortunate to do seva of Shree Thakurji. There are many instances in the varthas were we are given to understand the importance of being Pushtimargi and the pride associated with it. One Such instance is of Ashtachap kavi Shree Kirshnadasji, who happened to go the Meera bai's Haveli but refused donation from her for Shrinathji because she did not belong to our Fold and walked off, while many stood in long ques seeking alms from her.

Dear Nikunj, My Answer is Yes i am proud of myself to be a vaishnav and as a Guru we have vanshaj of Shri Mahaprabhuji,I also agree with what shreekant said and i would like add some on that. As a vaishnav after taking Brahmasambandh from Goswami Balak we are eligible for doing seva of Shri Tahkorji( In other Dharma its not possible as likein pushtimarg Eg. Shri Thakorjis Shri Ang Seva), We also get the seva of Guru , Vaishnavs and in havelis(where we get seva of sohni, malaji, Phoolmandli, Hindola etc..). Shri vallabh has created so many Granth for us specially Shodash Granth by this Shri Vallabh teach us how to live our lifes. We all are Pushtimargiya Vaishnav is also because of Shri Vallabh. There are so many things we can write on this topic this is the some of statement from my side. jai shri krishna...... i feel all of u have misunderstud me ...my question was not that should we feel lucky or proud of our religion...etc...my Question is... SHOULD WE FEEL PROUD, ALOOF THAT WE ARE PUSHTIMARGIYA JEEVS AND ARE BETTER THAN PEOPLE OF OTHER RELIGION??? Jai Shree Krishna It reminds me of shloka from Gita -18th chapter wherein it is said by Thakuji that "ISHWARH SARVA BHOOTANAM HRIDYEAN TISHTATI BRAMYAN SARVA BHOOTANI YANTRA RUDHANI MAYAYA" As a part of above 'Ahankar' is one of the most dangerous thing. All sects and religion terminate in one single goeal and mission of peace. all the principle are laid down everywhere has the same basic aim. In order to realise own goal one require a path. This path i.e Vashnava following the path has stood the test over the years (million yaers as depicted in Bhagvatam, Garg Samhita, Narada Shastra and Vedas) and latest version of all above is condenced and simplified by Shree Mahaprabhuji is well understood by his preachings /writings/conversations/work. And therefore, we must feel lucky and proud that Thakrji has blessed to give us birth in present time in an enviornment of Pushti Kul to achieve our goal in spite of unknown number of failures in the previous choryasi lakh yonis again and again. Thakorji is also blessing others in other religion as per thier karm and as they deserve themselves , they will also at end will take birth in pushti marg. Jai Shree Krishna A.K.OJHA
