jai Shri Krishna,
what i have learned from reading at a site thakurjis right leg is symbolic for bhakti and his left leg is represents mukti so we should touch the right leg first then the left leg and then again the right leg so that we attain bhakti of thakurji more than mukti ....
this is the bhavna behind charansparsch...
correct me if i am wrong please...

Jai Shri Krishna, some further reasoning behind this is that Bhakti and Mukti both have a place in Thakorji's charans. please excuse any misunderstandings/mistakes and kindly help to correct the same.
A further bhaav behind this is to indicate that, first we were part of him, in his seva, in bhakti (first sparsh of right charan - bhakti), then we lost our path and came to bhutal (so first sparsh of left charan - mukti) where we try and obtain gyan to get back to him and then once we understand the (pushti) bhakti maarg we go back to him (hence the second time for the right charan). Also the second time we have longer darshans of the right charan so that we may remember this and not be distracted back to the mukti maarg, etc..
Best Regards jagdish

Jjsg,
As per my knowledge, I am trying to write something. Charansparsh is for dasatva, gyan, dradhata and swakiyata. The bhavna of Shri charnarvind is given by Shri Gokulnathji,Shri Hariraiji and some acharyas. There are 16 chinha in Shri charanarvind-in dakshin charan 9 and in vaam 7.they are-dhwaj, ankush, kamal, vajra, swastik, astakon, yav, urdhwarekha, kalash and gopad, jambufal, matsya, dhanushya, trikon, ardhchandra, aakash. Charnarvind of Shri Prabhu gives sharan and bhakti. Because of charansparsh, our deh becomes yogya to do seva. For surdasji, no bhed amongs Shri Prabhu, Shri Mahaprabhu and Shri Prabhucharan.
Dradh in charanan kero bharoso...
Haripriya.

Jai Shri Krishna,
JJSG dadaji, Thank you for adding this wonderful explanation, thoroughly enjoyed it. If i may ask, if it is possible to elaborate further on the chinhas ? Their purpose or the bhaav behind each one ? Where can one find the bhaav behind each of the chinhas ? example, what does the symbol of matsya represent.
Best Wishes jagdish
