Jai Shri Krishna,

was it something to do with a comment regarding "seva" made by one vaishnav ? "these days they don't even peeth the lakir" ?

Jai Shri krishna,
Gopal and jagdish bhai. i was actually asking the question. I do not have exact details. but i have heard about saying "lakir pith" used by a couple of Jejes in their pravachan (Shyam Mahoharji, Dwarkesh Bawa ).
so I was mysels curious to know about it. the prasang is that some vaishnav (from 252) said after Mahaprabuji and Shri Gusaiji left the mortal world, that no one does seva now, according to what was prescribed. that they are just "lakir pith rahe hain".
so perhaps Shri Gokulnathji said that we should have a "Lakir pith utsav" or even celebrate that atleast they are trying to follow what was taught by Shri Mahaprabhuji and Shri Gusaiji.
i am not sure how accurate this is, I have heard couple of different things and written this. so it could not be incorrect and if any other vaishnav knows about it, do please share with us all.

Jai jai shri gokulesh
Manishji, I don't know as what i wrote is relevant to ur query or not but seeing the word "pith" thought of sharing it here...
SHRI PITHKAJI OF SHRINATHJI :-
The Background Divine stone (Shri Pithikaji) is square shaped. It contains the symbols of a Parrot, on the upper part, Two sages on left side, serpent, Lion and Two Peacocks, One Sage on the right side, alamb on the lower side, ‘SheshNaga’ and Two Cows. These symbols have divine and spiritual significance.
