Jai Shree Krishna

When we wear two tulsi kanthi, does it needs to be say right on our Kanth (perhaps around our neck. or a bit big or loose one what normally comes below our neck. Does the latter make it a tulsi mala?

Thanks

Jai Shri Krishna, You can wear two kanthis and has to surround the neck and it does not matter if they are loose on the neck as that is the only place it can hold (the neck) and some people I have seen want to hide under the shirt well that is also Ok as long as you wear them that is very very important. Listen to this true story. There is a story of a cruel man who was once transfering merchandise on bullock cart in olden days from Delhi to Mathura and on that day he met with an accident in which all were killed and Yamduts came to take him for punishment but what happened was the cart fell on him and he did not know that he was transfering tulsi malas in the merchandise and some fell on his body immediately Vishnuduts came and took him saying he has tulsi malas on his body and was thus saved. This proves the importance of Tulsi. As a vaishnav one must never remove same and must replace immediately if need be so it is always there 24 hours a day.
