Jai Shri Krishna, Very good question but the answer depends on few facts. Have you taken Brahmasamband? and do you have Thakurji at home and is it Pushti (that is done Pusht by Goswami Balaks) Then your prime duty is everyday to wake up God, do seva, make offerings of items you can afford, and do kirtans and sen. If you do not have Thakurji and you are a vaishnav then at least do as many malas as possible of the Mantra given to us.Or you can recite same in mind. Do atleast Manglacharan, Navratna strotnam, Krishnashreya, Chatushloki, plus other from shodosh granth depends on the time factor you have. Plus do maximum reading of the pustaks, vartas etc. You can refer to previous questions asked on similar topics too. Minimum is few jap malas maximum is everything by contributing full time to Pushti. Vasant

Jai Shree Krishna Very good guiadance for the minimum and will be very helpful to bigners. I would like to go a step further. By hearing and reading from various authorities that certain number of jap malas proivde siddhi of mantra. Though, i am clear that it all depends on Thakurji's krupa, however does this applies in our context. If so , please throw some light on this aspect. Jai Shree Krishna A.K.OJHA

Jai Shri Krishna Sir, Nothing is POSSIBLE without Thakurji's krupa and so to have his krupa on you, you should try to do as much as possible you can and have a continuous jap nam mala going on in your mind. Jai Shri Krishna Sandhya Vaishnav

Jai Shri Krishna Sandya, You are right but this question was framed to assist beginners for initiating minimum lession and once the same is adhred, the rest will follow on Thkorjis krupa by fixing targets upwards later on. In this context, Shri Vasantbhai reply is befitting and fully explained. Thakorji standing round the clock to receive you and rather calling everybody with one hand upwards , one has to make little effort. Once HE catches you, will not leave you any time, rest assured.
