Jai Shree Krushna! This is part of a verse from Vivek-Dhairya-Ashray describing Dhairya. The verse goes like this : Tri-dukh sahanam dhairyam, aamrute sarvatah sada| Takravat dehvat bhavyam, jadvat Gopbharyavat || Shree Mahaprabhuji is explaining importance of Dhairya (Perseverance). We should tolerate the three-fold miseries viz. aadhi-bhautik, aadhi-aatmic and aadhi-deivik unto death. He then gives an example for each one viz. Takra (Chhachh/buttermilk), Jad (Jad Bharat) and Gopbharya (Gopies) respectively. The aadhi-bhautik pains arises from body, so it should be considered as Takra because Takra is without butter (pride) and so it does not feel pain losing its pride. Similarly, a devotee should not feel pain when insulted due to body. Similarly there can be explanations for other two types of miseries and their examples. It was a humble attempt to explain, so better explanations are welcome. Jai Shree Krushna ! Dharmendra

I know there are only very limited amount of Indians there due to language problem and other barriers. Keep it up. What you have said about is all true.

Jai Shri Krishna, Lets continue the satsang as you gave one example and the other two are as follows, In suffering sensual ( Aadhiya mitik ) pain one should behave like Jad bharat ( I hope we all know the great king who was liberated after three births). And in undergoing divine (Aadhi Daivik) pains one should deport like the cowherdnesses (Gopi Bhav) While suffering all the three types of aforementioned discomforts, of the mind, the physique and the senses get perturbed, the devotional service is far from perfect. Hence for the accomplishment of the service it has been exhorted that all three types of agonies should be borne.

Jai Shri Krishna, Dear vaishnavs to make it simple what Dharmendrabhai has said it was a very good example which goes like this Shri Mahaprabhuji here has indicated that the butter milk has been cited as to the sufering of corporal (Aadhi Bhautik) pains. Just as if, after the butter having been churned out, the worthless butter milk is spilled, it doesn't cause any pain, Similarly after the shedding of the attachemnt of blood or bodily relations (sons and wife, etc.) like the loss of butter milk, the affront etc, caused by them is not painful. The divine assignment accomplished by physique is like the butter.. Thinking so, one should have the feeling like that of butter in divine deeds.
