Jai Shree Krishna,

I was away on a business trip and only came back recently and I am sure Pustikul did not miss me at all as there were many lovely vaishnavas doing cybore satsang and wow the subjects were posted in my absence, great, and I see few new members as well who has joined Pushtikul parivaar. Well come all of you and I'm sure you all will enjoy electric magic Pushti Satsang in Pushtikul satsang hall.

When on my last posting if everyone remembers then I was quizing our satsang with 84 varta swadhyaya. Now here is the posting number five on the subject.

Can anyone name 4 "heenjati" vallabhi vaishnava from 84 Vaishnava's varta?

Jai Shree Krushna ! I could remember following vaishnavs : 1. Vishnudas Chhipa : what an excellent conversation with Shree Mahaprabhuji on the first meeting! How humility pleases Shree Vallabh, is exhibited by his character. Later he refused to take food at Shree Gusainji's in-laws and also defeated many pandits on the gate so they don't disturb Shree Gusainji. 2. Krishnadasi : A young girl alongwith her mother gets drawn and flows to the bank of Ganga near Prayag where Shree Mahaprabhuji takes her in refuge. After Krushnadas meghan tries to leave her with her father, she refuses as now she is vaishnav and then a vaishnav (harivansh pathak ?) takes to his home. As she grows, she refuses to marry any other than vaishnav, but being from a lower caste, the vaishnav is in trouble and then puts her at Shree Gusainji's house where she serves Rukmini Vahuji ... The famous prasang of Gokulnathji's appearance timing .. 3. Yadvendradas Kumhar: He lived near Narayandas Brahmchari's house and once received prasad of Shree Gokulchandramaji! After that, he eagerly waited for Shree Mahaprabhuji to become his disciple and then stays with him with the service of carrying samagri in the yatra. Also he dug the foundation of the haveli in Gokul overnight at Shree Gusainji's order. 4. Ramdas from Mevad : I think, he once declined to take any gift from meerabai in mevad eventhough many brahmins were waiting for the same. This was to glorify Acharya whose shudra sevak was so high then what to speak of himself! Please correct if some vaishnav is missed from your consideration. Jai Shree Krushna Dharmendra

Jai Shree Krishna, Shree Dharmendraji, well tried but although these were vaishnava from "Jati" but not really "Heen". At the time of Vallabh Era, concept of "Heenjati" was more elaborated then it is today. To see what I mean please refer to Prasang on Varta 3 of 84 Vaishnava's Varta and you will realise what I meant by "Heenjati". Your answer is notwhat I am looking for and examples are not of Heenjati. Anyway I will reveal one vaishnava which is Varta 3 and Vaishnava is "Lundi". I want the answer which Damodar Dasji wrote on ready record of all vaishnava who become vaishnava and he catogorised 4 vaishnava (in 84 vaishnava's Varta) to be from "HEENJATI". Now lets see who can answer the rest three. Dharmendraji your style of putting forward and explaination is praise worthy. Daso no das Pushtidas. Edited by - pushtidas on October 06 2004 14:06:10

Jai Shree Krishna To all Vaishnava please note that the prasang which was relayed by Dharmendraji were as following and I have put their Gnati to demostrate why I think the answer is not what I was looking for: (1) Vishnudas Chippa....Gnati is Chippa....Town: Agra (Varta 50) (2) Krishnadasi....Gnati is Gawd Brahmin...Town: Pattana (Varta 45) (3) Yadvendradas ...Gnati is Kumbhar...Town: Mahavaan (Varta 25) (4) Ramdas Mevada...Gnati Brahmin...Town: Mevaad (Varta 47) Dasa no das Pushtidas

Jai Shree Krushna! First of all thanks Pushtidasji for attempting to clarify "Heen Jati" which was somewhat misleading. Secondly, unfortunately, i couldn't carry with me 84 vaishnavs varta from India and so i couldn't refer to the prasang. Thirdly, i would be more than happy to rectify any errors in the prasangs described as again this is what i could recollect without the book and it is the satsang where we learn. Well, the topic is nice and i respect your observation of finer aspects which i also relish, but i would like to broaden the horizon of such discussion beyond enumeration and tabulation of information. I would appreciate and i hope you and other vaishnvas would also relish to bring out the glory of Shree Vallabh or elucidation of some socio-spiritual principles that Shree Mahaprbahuji accomplished through the examples of such vaishnavs. The above examples, the ones that you will be citing and the ones that i will be further appending can help us understand the current situation also. Morever, cutting short, all these vaishnavs are top-quality ones who have transcended material relationships, least the "jati" in which they were born, so in one sense it is really not encouraging to discuss these unless through the process we increase the Mahatmya gnan that leads to sudradh sneh towards Shree..ji. Again, having said that, please feel free to correct and accept my humble bhagvad smaran! Envisaging the diverseness in the topic, and for ease of topic segmentation and information retrieval, i will start new topics on similar lines. Jai Shree Krushna ! Dharmendra

Jai Shree Krishan Thanks for your Radaya Vratha on the reflection of "HEEN_JATI", I for no means wants to demostrate any other feelings except to demostrate that the 84 Vaishnava ni Varta is a gold mine and has also shown the Pushti marg's sidhant. When I asked question on "Heenjati" it was not to offend but to demostrate the prominant sidhant that anyone including Socio-made heenjati is excepted by Shree Vallabh and it also shows that Thakorji has never distinguished between any Jiav' bhautic dasha. Dharmendraji, the finner tooth understanding will enhance the innermost Ghudh Bhava which such a simple question hides very cleverly in its exception of Shree Vallabh's Jiva ashray. To have a Pushtak or not to have Pushtak is not an issue. The issue my learned Dharmendraji is of once manan of Nitya Niyam's Pushtak vanchan. I am sorry you over there have not got the Pushtak, but if you want the pustak I will definately post it to you and it will be a pleasure to have you on board of Pushtikul satsang as you have demostrated a nishtha and provoked the thinkings of many vaishnava on this Cyberic Satsang. Please let me know which is the language you prefer. I am sorry if I have ofended anyone's ego or anyone's nishtha, except my apology. Daso no das Pushtidas

Jai Shree Krushna ! Thank you Pushtidasji for throwing some light on the underlying principles and enumerating the answer. Adding further to the examples, i would cite a prostitue as well as a hunter who became good vaishnavs after coming in contact with Shree Vallabh. I wish, but i wouldn't go into the definition of "Heenjati" as that is not important, but what would delight the readers is what special qualities these so called "Heenjati" vaishnavs possessed that elivated them to such a dinstinguishable position of being Shree Vallabh's chosen ones. This may help us to also try to develop those qualities, and who knows if we face similar situation, we may also derive inspiration from their lives. Atleast one such quality is humility which is very pleasing to the Lord. This is all surface level qualities, as i am not touching their Nitya-lila swaroops which is on the higher plane. And please, there is no need to apologize, as there is no ego involved, but the pure blissful glorification of our beloved Shree Vallabh and his loved vaishnavs. By the way, thanks for your kind gesture and no need to take the trouble as i will arrange for my books as soon as things settle. But that doesn't stop us exchanging views as i would like to contact you while i transit through London tomorrow on my way to the East. Jai Shree Krushna ! Dharmendra
