Have seen many people cut and trim trees and palnts for better view or upgrading their houses including trimming tulsi trees.

I think, we must cut leaf, flowers, branches of trees so that it can be used for our Thakorji's Seva...other than that cutting/trimming of trees must be avoided.

cutting of Tulsiji's plant is a sin, but we should pluck the leaves from tulsiji so that we can use it ion seva & also we can offer it to Shree Thakorji.

I read in Srimad Bhagvatam that before cutting Tulasi leaves for use in Shri Thakorjis seva, we must bow our heads in front of her and humbly ask for her permission to use her holy leaves in Sri Thakorjis seva. Jai Shri Krishna.
