Jai Shree Krishna everyone,

Now to continue our mini swadhiyaya, here is the third question on 84 Vaishnava's Varta. Are we all ready? Here we go !!!!!

There are mainly nine Vaishnavas in 84 Vaishnavas, who has shown Guru Seva and also demonstrated Guru's facilities and comfort, that is GURU SUKH. Out of nine the most famous prasang is of Damodardas Harsaniji, who when Shree Vallabh was fast asleep in Damodardasji's godi (LAP)asked Thakorji, who at that time came down the Goverdhan Parvaat, to stop and not to come any further as Guru Shree Mahaprabhuji (Shree Vallabh) was fast a sleep and he was not to be disturbed.

Can we name other eight? See with Shree Vallabh's grace we could answer this !

Jai Shree Krishna. One prasang is of Shree Krushnadas Meghan. When aap and Shree Vallabh had been to Himalayas, Shree Vallabh went inside the 'Vyas Gufa'to do satsang with Vyasji and asked Krushnadasji to stay outside gufa.Shree Vallabh returned after 3 days and for 3 days Krushnadasji holded the Sheela falling from top. Second prasang is of 'Rajobai Shatrani'who was going everynight with some samagri to Shree Vallabh.Rajobai was sakhi of Shree Lalitaji in leela and had always a wish to offer samagri to the 'Ugal swaroop' by her own hand. One may quote prasang of 'Mahavan na Shatrani'-not exactly of Guru Sukh- who got four swaroops of Shree Thakorji from Shree Yamunaji in her gagar but didnt kept any of the swaroop for seva as she was deeply aasakt only in swaroop of Shree Vallabh.

Jai Shree Krishna Snehalji, Aap ko Janmastmi or nand Mahotsava ki badhai. Well done you have picked the right vibes. You also said rightly, regarding "Mahavan Na Shatraniji", is not exactly "Guru Sukh" but is "GURU NISHTHA". Now lets see if we get anymore feed back regarding rest of "Guru Sukh". Jai Shree Krushna ! This is something that we observe in allmost all the divine 84 vaishnavs to some or the other extent and it is just relishable to read about their incidences. So thanks Pushtidasji for bringing this topic up, it is important for us to discuss these. Padmanabhdasji was one such vaishnav whose prasang is famous. Once when Shree Vallabh was passing through a forest alongwith his few antarang sevaks, one businessman followed him. But at night, when he was sleeping, he was looted, so in the morning, he reached Padmanabhdasji's home where Shree Vallabh was taking his prasad. Thinking that knowing about this, Shree Vallabh may be disturbed for a while, he immediately took the man to a shahukar where he took loan to give money to the man so that he glorifies his Guru and does not blame for the loss. This was his great love for Guru-sukh! Rightly Shree Gokulnathji calls him "Koti ma viral (one in millions)". There is another vaishnav (Ramdas Sanchora ?, or may be other name) who was a young boy and came to the refuge of Shree Vallabh in Dwaraka and then stayed with him. During the tour of India, he would walk in front of Shree Mahaprabhuji and clear the way. In this process, he even got hurt by thorns, but continued to walk thinking if he stops, Shree Mahaprabhuji would get Shramit because of him. Seeing this dedication, Shree Vallabh blessed him! All these are really relishable ! Jai SHree Krushna ! Dharmendra

Jai Shree Krishna Well done Dharmendraji, you are right on both counts. Padmanabhdasji and Ramdas Sachoraji as you described have nishtha towards Guru Sukh. So now we have: 1. Krushnadas Meghan -answered by Snehalji 2. Padmanabhdasji - answered by Dharmendraji 3. Ramdas Sachora - answered by Dharmendraji Well done both of you, give a point for each answer. Now we wait for 5 (five) more to complete this swadhiyay. Jai Shree Krishna Pushtidas Edited by - pushtidas on September 10 2004 21:32:36

Jai Shree krishna, It is high time now we post the answer for the above question: Guru Sukh was clearly shown by these 84 vaishnavas: (1) Damodardas Harsani Prasang (the event): Shree Achariyaji was sleeping and Damodardasji stopped Thakorji and asked Him to wait till Shree Vallabh awakes. (2) Krashnadas Meghan Prasangs: Stopped "Shilla", He also went across the river to to fetch "Murmura" and the third event was when Krashnadasji took agiya from Mahaprabhuji and waited outside the cave for three days. (3)Padmanamdas. Prasang: He helped a trader who had been robbed, and borrowed enogh funds by putting his dharma as a collatrol (Girvaiy)and paid the merchant. (4) Dinker Seth Prasang: Just because he did not want to delay Guru Katha, he ate uncooked Roti. (5) Purshottamdas -Stri-Purush (Varta 22) Prasang: They used the Thakorji's utensils for mahaprabhji's bhojan. (6) Ramdas Sachora Prasang: He used to clean the path for Shree Mahaprabhuji in parikrammma and in doing so, he also ingnore the pain inflicted by thorns. (7) Krashnadasi Prasang: Her wishes were of Gokulnathji to be born in an auspicious Zodial (Yogiya Mahurat). (8) Vishnudas Chippa Prasang: In order to make sure that Shree Gusainji is not troubled by various Pandits who came to debate on various reliegious aspects, Vishnudas used to conduct these debates with Pandits and became victorious and this way he used to get rid of these pandits from the door-steps. (9) Bhagvandas Prasang: Wilst travelling he used to make sure that the Guruji is sheltered from sun and also made sure that Guruji keeps cool in the heat. This way he used to do Chhaya - Pankho seva. These are the nine main sevaks in 84 Vaishnava's Varta who had give sukh to the Guruji. Jai Shree Krishna Dasa no das-Pushtidas Edited by - pushtidas on September 12 2004 13:50:04
