Jai Shree Krishna to all Vaishnavo,

From this topic I got an another question that is  "REIKI"  anyashrya or not??

Reiki means to heal from our touch. I learned reiki 2 step.

Like doctors give medicines to get well soon but reiki is to heal the people from their power. Somebody says that reiki is also used by our god. I am not sure please correct me. Like God,  in human body there is an power but that power is hidden inside,  through reiki the power comes out and we can heal to anybody from our touch. Even we can change once thought through reiki..

So is "REIKI"  anyashary or not. Please anybody knows then reply me..

Jai Shree Krishna

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh

Now a days the mordern VastuShastra-Fengsui has spreaded it's work a lot. The Wind-chimes, Laughing Buddha, Tortoise, etc. Just we recall that in this Wind-chimes the beautiful sound comes, when the wind blows. They say that the Bad things doesnt enter if the wind chimes is been kept in from of our door of our house.   So in our Temples we had the Ghantis-Ghantas (bells) which sounds, because it is the purity factor. Laughing Buddha, brings prosperity, happiness. True, In our Indian Mythology, ShriKuberji, the Khajanchi (treasurer) of the Dev Lok. His look is old and when he laughs he makes others also laugh, and helps the people to become prosper, happy. And Tortoise, According to our indian mythology, During the time of Samudra Manthan Amrit was to be got, and many other invaluable things. But was required for the Saagar to get manthan, So how to do Manthan, ShriPrabhu took incarnation in form of ShriKachap (KachapAavtaar-Tortoise incarnation) and set below in the sea, over the Mandrachal Parvat and was tied with a Snake, and the Devs and Asurs Did the Manthan.

Now, still we think that Feng-Sui or our Indian mythology????????? Indian Mythology is the culture, while Feng-Sui is the profession..............

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh,

Reiki Itself is an Anyashray, because In Reiki, u had to believe to the person what he/she  say. Means to get dependend on that Person who will solve ur problem. So it becomes Anyashray.

One can argue that even when a person gets ill, he has to go to Doctor, so here he is relying on doctor. So is this not an anyashray. What can we Say????

Jay jay shree gokulesh

According to me Feng Shui is not anyashray.  It is just a list of laws to be followed while building a house. As we all know that sun rises from east, and wind normally flows from the south-west side. This all are natural laws and if we build a house which gets benefits from all this type of natural laws than it doesn't mean that we have done anyashray.

But this doesn't mean that Feng Shui is the only thing and we trust it more than shree thakorji. If we do so than this is anyashray.

We have to use this as a tool for betterment of our life. And if our life is good than we can do seva with more efficiency.

Jai Shree Krishna

Efficiency in Seva is in no way related to our materialistic betterment, this fact is most obvious from the 252/84 varthas. Shree Thakorjis seva ought to be done within ones own limitation and boundaries, this is one of the foremost principles of Pushtimarg. To say that one is following Fengshui or any other mumbo jumbo so that one will gain matrierialistically and then through this material gain will make his sevya swaroopa happy is not the pushtisiddhant.

Shree Mahaprabhiji whist visiting a Vaishanvas place asked his son were his father had gone, and when he replied that he had gone to work so that through the gains he could do seva, Shree Vallabh was not happy with the reply, however, when the very same Vasiahnav said that had gone to attend his daily work Shree Mahaprabhuji expressed satisfaction. To do anything and say that the sameis being done for Shree Thakorji is not Vaishnavta at all. And the principle of Nishkaam bhaav is lost here too.

One should remember that while doing seva too, we, I stree 'we' do seva keeping Shree Thakorjis sukh in mind, it in no way means that prabhu is not in Sukh. He is Purna Purushottam, and always in extreme bliss.

My apologies if I have hurt anyone.

yes we always keep in mind that TAT SUKH( shree thakorji's happiness)  is the formost thing and nothing should become hinderance for it.

but i wanted to say that as we have to take some guidence from a civil engineer before making a house we can also take some guidence form such type of things. this may help us making a good house.

Here I would like to point out something we missed in the discussion.

Our Havelis DO follow the rules of Vastu to some extent.

You will not find a Haveli or the swarup facing South. Always East or West or at the most, North. Openings will be in line with other openings. Inclusion of an open space or chowk. I do not know much Vastu, but like a Dan Brown in 'The Da Vinci Code' one can uncover much more.

But why it exists is worth thinking about. Because the existing architecture around 550 years back was converted to incorporate the bhavna of a Nandalaya. The open chowk was kamal chowk as in Kamal symbolizing the entire Vraj. the Sinh Pol lions, were retained with the bhavna of Yashodaji's vatsalya that the Bal swarup would not venture out alone on seeing the lions at the gate etc. All other motifs of devi-devtas, yantra, tantras were not included as that would be anyashray.

So as the houses at the time did follow basic vastu principles, some principles find a place. But we must bear in mind that these are principles are mostly related to wind direction and light, or some Leela Bhavna so that the haveli becomes very anukool for Shri Thakurji. 'tatsukh' is the basic criteria.

Now when we have some principles which say you have to place other God idols, or some mumbo jumbo, be it our local tantra, yantra, vastu, astrology, pyramid or some imported feng shui, so that our wealth and material yields increase, we are making ourselves dependent on them and expressing our disbelief in the samarthya of Shri Thakurji. That is definitely anyashray.

And the justification that if we have more money we will serve Shri Thakuji better is not at all in harmony with the principles of Pushtimarg. "Praptam Sevet Nirmama"

Jay Jay Shree Gokulesh,

Shri Mahaprabhuji gave honour to each and every shashtra. To know shashtra is not wrong. Vaidic vidhi is also important to give respect to other devi devtas who are working as per Shri Prabhu’s orders as they are vibhuti swaroops of Shri Prabhu.

Sometimes we buy an idol or a piramyd or a laughing Buddha after hearing from someone else or seeing somewhere just for decoration and not for any personal gain. But if something good happens and if we think that it is bcoz of this then that is the very beginning of anyashraya. Once it begins it grows like grass and we cant stop it.

Shri Prabhu is sarvasva. He always does good for his bhakts. Even sometimes if it may look bad at first, He always thinks of our wellbeing(hit).
Many many prasangs talk about anyashray..Damodardas Sambharwala, Kumbhandas jane soneki arasi aur kai gaon jo daanme milte hate aur badshahkobhi javab de diyo fir bulayio mati..wane nahi sochi hogi wealth hogi to seva achhese nibhegi,  lekin nahi unki wealth to pedke pichhe hati. Kab Raja jaye aur Shri Prabhu pedke pichhese aakarke unku batave manorathke bareme…!!!
I think by knowingly believing on anything other than Shri Prabhu is anyashray.

One pad by Nanddasji..

Sadar Bhagvad Smaran !

For a Daivi jeev, as he is a part of  ' Grihastashram ' , a householder, his activities have been clearly demarcated by Shri Vallabh into three parts; Worldly duties, Vaidik Duties and his Alaukik Duties.

Shri Vallabh mentions,' Vaidikatvam Laukikatvam Kapatyateshu Na Anyatha, Vaishnavatvam Hee Sahajam '

  • Vaidik duties referring to his duties as a Hindu; as in Shraddha, Vastu, Marraige rituals etc.
  • Laukik, of course, his duties of a house holder, providing for himself and his family, job, relations etc.
  • Vaishnavatvam; all his duties towards Shri Thakurji as guided by Shri Vallabh.

HIs world duties and his vaidik duties are just for 'kapat' i.e a daivi jeev performs them just to show others, so that other people who do not understand his bhav may not create uninvited hindrance to his seva, he does not seek enjoyment or refuge in them.

So then, the only karm that he seeks refuge in, or that is ' sahaj ' - one that is natural to him is his ' SEVA of Shri Thakurji ' Here he fully involves himself. His happiness and saddness are now relative only to his seva. He is happy if he has done seva well, or he reads/ hears some sundar prasang, or he does an activity that spreads the message of Shri Vallabh. He is sad if he does something that results into parishram of Shri Thakurji.

His Sukh and Dukh too are now alaukik, not related and dependent on his wealth, relations etc.

So any activity that arises out of obtaining Worldly Sukh or removing Worldly Dukh is anyashray.

As clearly mentioned in the Narad Bhakti Sutra (10) " Ananyata (opposite of anyashray) is the removal of all worldy dependencies "

knowledge on any subject  like science astrology astronomy history vaastu   shankhya  bhasha mathes geography

etc can not be categorised as anyaashray

( how great and achal shuddhaadwait is can only be detered by studing the philosophy  of shakt  shiva shankar madhva nimbark ramanuj and badri  so to find out what makes theory of vallabh superior to all you have to study other vaadas and that increases knowledge and does not compile to anyaashray )

if any vaishnav visits feng shui store i am sure you will find everything useful for seva

like table top fountains water flowing out with mix of gulab jaal and khas fragrances in summer

or wind chimes soothing noice for thakurji or least trouble some chinese baamboo to create a small nikunj for your sevya swaroop

for those who think feng shui is anyaashray will miss out a lot that can be done for tat sukham
