Jai Shri Krishna,
Shrinathji'S Swaroop is like HE was standing at the Dwar of Nikunj Of Golokdham like he is the swami(Nayak) of the Nikunj.
I don't know How to Write this in proper wordings.

Jaishreekrishna!
I beleive that since shreenathji's swaroop is not a Nidhi swaroop HE is called as Nikunjnayak.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Reeta/Ami,
Shreenathji is our Mukhya Swaroop we can call shrenathji as our Nidhi Swaroop .
Shreenathji is standing at the Dwar of Girikandra (This is the Dwar of Golokdham Rupi Nikunj) and he is saying that he is the Swami(Nayak) of this dwar and thos who is taking his Sharan get entry in the Nikunj and Shreenathji gives a Dan of his Lila .
That's why shreenathji is been called as Nikunjnayak.
If i am wrong than please let me know
