P.B.G.V. Shri Haridas Vasanji MajethiaThe main source of encouragement and support to Pushtikul and also the great Bhagvadiya from whose hands Pushtikul.com was inaugrated in year 2001, P.B.Shri Haridas Vasanji Majethia has taken Gaulokh pravesh on 12th Spetember 2004 at Pune in Ruby Hall at about 7.30 AM. He had been having fever since 15 days and other complications resulted in his death. He was crimated in Khopoli at Anteshti Dham at about 2.30 PM on 12th Sept. by his eldest son Mr. Ranchhodbhai Majethia in precense of family members, Mr.Ramdas Shende (Chairman-Muncipal Council Khopoli), Mr.D.Masurkar (President-Nationalist Congress Party, Raigad), Mr.Balm (President-Khopoli Vyaapari Association), Mr. Natwarlal Thakker (Mahajan - Khopoli Lohana Samaj), Mr. Devendra Satam (Ex-MLA, Khalapur), Mr.Garodia (Chairman-Goradia Amforge Ltd.) Mr.Agarwal (President - Rotary Club Khopoli) etc. to name few and many other dignatories of Khopoli Town. Khopoli Town followed a "Bandh" on 12th Septmeber 2004 following his death. Even at age of 81, he was working for the society. Being affiliated to many social organisations and even founder memeber of many of them such as Khalapur Taluka Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (Ex-Chairman), Vitthal Hanuman Mandir Trust (Chairman), Gram Panchayat Member (Khopoli), Khopoli Lohana Samaj (Mahajan for 25 Years), Khopoli Vyapaari Association (Chairman for 40 years), Nagrik Kriti Samiti (Director) etc. He has left behind his deeds which are a source of inspiration for each one in the society. He had worked for society till his last time. He had always worked with self-lessness and with true dedication and honesty. Many of the institutions of which he had become the head, still remember his discipline, know-how, intelligence and honest policies. He was very religious too. Doing Bhagwad Smaran by reading Bhagwat in morning and Bhagwat Varta in Evening was his daily routine. In year 2001 he had been to Vraj Parikrama in Dwarkeshbawa's sangh and had completed the Parikrama by walking the whole way long everyday, without taking help of anyone at any time. This shows his spirit and affection towards Vraj and also his firm determination. Not to mention that he never ever had any food or drinks that were from outside, although he had not taken 'Marjad'. Words fall short to describe the personality he himself was. He shall always be fondly remembered by Pushtikul.
