Knowledge of pushtimarag is a must, There are many Vaishnavs who sadly think of Shree Vallabhacharya as a learned pandit who thought how to do seva {Shree Vallabh kshma karo}. In fact i would say Brahmasamband ought not to be given with out there being a special simple course that one goes through on Pushtimarag.
