Bhav Prakash (Revealing the Sentiment): This devotee belongs to the rajasic category of devotees. In the divine play, her name is “Kamalakanta.” She manifested from “Mohini,” and therefore that is her devotional form.
Prasang 1 – Shri Gusainji Reveals His Divine Greatness
Once, Shri Gusainji set out for Dwarka to have darshan of Shri Ranchhodji. On the way, He arrived at a village and established His camp there. Many Vaishnavas lived in that village, and this Vaishnava was one of them. He received the darshan of Shri Gusainji. Then he submitted a prayer to Shri Gusainji: “Maharaj! Please bestow the Name upon me. Please also accept me into Your refuge.” Shri Gusainji commanded: “Go and bathe, then return.” The Vaishnava bathed and came back. Then, out of grace, Shri Gusainji bestowed Name-initiation and offering (nivedan) upon him.
Afterward, the Vaishnava prayed to Shri Gusainji: “Maharaj! What is Your command for me now?” Shri Gusainji replied: “Perform the seva of Shri Thakurji.” The Vaishnava submitted: “Maharaj! I shall serve You. I will accompany You to Braj.” Shri Gusainji replied: “Very well.” Thereafter, Shri Gusainji proceeded to Shri Dwarkaji, and this Vaishnava remained constantly engaged in His service. He served Shri Gusainji in every proper manner.
After Shri Gusainji stayed there for some time and had darshan of Shri Ranchhodji, He departed from there and set out for Shri Gokul. One day during the journey, Shri Gusainji established camp at a certain place. There, after preparing the meal, He offered bhog to Shri Thakurji. All the Brajvasi attendants then began preparing their own meals. At that very moment, suddenly heavy rain clouds gathered. Darkness spread everywhere. Then this Vaishnava submitted to Shri Gusainji: “Maharaj! What should be done now?” Shri Gusainji said: “O rain! Come carefully. We belong to Anyor.”
Bhav Prakash (Revealing the Sentiment): By saying this, Shri Gusainji revealed His true form. What was revealed? That He is directly the son of Nanda Maharaj Himself. Formerly, for seven days, He held up Shri Govardhan and prevented the torrential rains sent by Indra. That very same divine form is present here. Gopaldasji has sung: “Shri Purushottam, independent in His divine sports, manifested while assuming the form of a Brahmin. For seven days He held aloft the great Govardhan Hill, thus stopping the rains sent by Vasava (Indra).” In this manner, that very Shri Purushottam has manifested by assuming the form of a Brahmin. Thus, He revealed Himself.
At that very moment, all the rain clouds dispersed. There, Shri Gusainji revealed the greatness of His own divine form in this way. Afterward, Shri Gusainji completed the offering of bhog and took His meal. Then He had Mahaprasad distributed to all the Brajvasi attendants. Thereafter, Shri Gusainji returned to Shri Gokul, and this Vaishnava came along with Him. He had darshan of Shri Navneetpriyaji. Later, Shri Gusainji proceeded to Shri Nathjidwar, and that Vaishnava also accompanied Him. There he had darshan of Shri Govardhannathji. Afterward, Shri Gusainji placed that Vaishnava in the seva of Shri Govardhannathji.
The Vaishnava then began performing that seva very properly and faithfully. For as long as his body endured, he continued performing that seva. Such was this Vaishnava, a blessed devotee and recipient of the special grace of Shri Gusainji. Therefore, how far can one go in describing his glory and account?
