I would request some Vaishnav to let us know the detailed procedure of Apras that has to be followed before performing Seva.

Apras means nothing but only cleanness, Swachhata not a chhuva chhuvi at all,

jai jai shri gokulesh,apras means before going for shri thakorjis seva one should take bath in shower wearing reshmi or cotton towel and then wipe your self with reshmi cloth and wear reshmi or washed cotton clotheswhich is not to be touched before bath then take charnamrit do tilak or bindi and then go for sevaas gopi goes correct me if i am wrong and then you do mala and say or gadhya mantra while offering tulsiji in shrjis charnavind and do the further sseva jjsg

Apras is shortened version of A-Sparsh - this includes the touch of thought as well as by hand, etc...
just as doctors/surgeons wear clean/overcoats and gloves, mask etc so the patients dont get contaminated by germs in their hands, etc..
-- e.g., when in a restaurant (decent quality) you will see waiters, chefs wearing gloves, aprons and head caps, etc.
Shuddhi (cleanliness) is part of sewa so starting from waking up, to having a bath to food-samagri preparations and finally going to bed... throughout the day one would try to keep clean...
