Dear Amit Bhaiji,
Jai Sri Srinathji Sarkar,
In a situation like this two alternatives are sugested
1) you can touch your tulsi mala to thali & have food.
2) Else close your eyes take nam sri and mentally considering our srinathji as omnipotent and omnipresent offer the food to his lordship.
But should never eat asamarpit food. One thing should be remembered that the food offered in this way should not be the one that is forbidden like onions garlic etc.

Jai Shri Krishna Amitji,
In such a situation also one alternative that could be suggested would be to put Charnamrut before having the food. Also what Amitbhai Pareek said is right.
Shri Vallabhadhish ki Jai !!
