Champaran dham was chosen, according to my knowledge, by our Gurudevji to bring honor to the Champa flower's tree. Previously this forest of Champa trees was shunned by all. It did not have any value at all. The trees flowers were also classified as worthless. Our kripa - sagar Guruji endowed his blessings upon the place and made it into a dham. It shows how our Guruji with his all merciful acceptance of Vaishnavas can change a stone into a gem. It is also said that after Shree Guruji's birth, his parents witnessed the entire vraj lila and there was a need for privacy inorder for them to do so. Not every mortal deserves to witness Vraj lila. Guruji's parents were devi - jeevs and pure Vaishnavas. They hence, got the utmost right to do so. Hence, Champaran was chosen.
