Jai Shree Krishna I think Manishbhai is right, but let me tell u that we cannot eat sabudana on ekadashi day, can anybody tell why it should not be used, i know everybody makes sabudana khichdi and vadas on this day but i know the reason why it should not be taken on ekadasi day.Even on other days a true vaishnav or a marjaadi will not eat Sabudana. Jai Shree Krishna No Sabudana is not offered to Shree Thakorji. For the simple reason that it does not come from a natural source. The reason i think is that when sabudana is made, in order to achieve its elasiticity or porousness, they use feet to stamp on the material. Correct me if i am wrong.

Jai Shree Krishna No Shreekant Bhai u r wrng sabudana is made from a natural source it is actually made fro a root of arro which is mainly available in kerala. It is the process by which it is made is not recommended to be used in temples which very few people know about. The Root is shredded and boiled in water and then it is processed in a machine to make it into small balls and some times they use some chemicals to get smooth finish, they also make nylon sabudana which also contents some synthetic material, all this apart we should not use sabudana as it is boiled in water.
