Ojhaakji, we should use dhoti and bandi made of resham or kantan in seva. But, if u r using cotton dhoti and bandi, then u have to follow the procedure mentioned by me in my previous posting. Also while in seva u have to b in two vastras i.e. u cant do seva only wearing a dhoti. u should wear something to cover ur upperpart of body i.e either a bandi or a uparna and should always wear two tulsi kanthis(one of guru(swaminijis) bhav and one of Shree Thakorjis bhav. Readymade dhotis r not allowed in seva. Though nowadays many people wear that, but that is wrong. According to shashtra any clothes which u have to wear from legs or forehead r not allowed in seva and for that reason u should not wear undergarments during seva though u could wear langot during seva. there is also a whole procedure of doing apras which if anyone is interested i will post later.

Well explained Snehalji. Your explanation is good in that it is easily understandable and most apt, and most importantly devoid of Qoutes (though relavant, may be).
For the benefit of the members and also the many quests who visit this site, you should post your information on Apras too, in the same simplistic way you have explained about Vastra.
Like our 84/252 varthas, we too should provide information in the most simplistic manner, unless otherwise desired by other vaishanvs, without the use of heavilyladen words, that tend to make the information seem too much to comprehend. This we should learn from the 84/252 varthas, there bhav laden words, simple and inconqruent, enter our hearts so welcomingly, making us take the plunge in the bhav nagari of Pushtimarg.

Thanks for guidance for silk & Kantan clothes usages.
As all of us live fast life of cities in metros and A ,B &C type of cities is there is any other alternatives of clothes permissble / available
