Jai Shree Krishna Sakhi: A exact meaning of thhis is sisterhood. Shree Mahaprabhuji in Pushtimarg preaches of Four main Bhavs, they being Vatsalya, Sakhya, Dasya and Madhurya. Madhurya bhav refes to Love. It is a well known fact, learnt even in Hindi litrature that Bhaktis extreme level is epotimised as Love. In this stats the Thakurji himself becomes the beloved- a metaphor for the higher level of Bhakthi experienced by by a bhaktha. This Madhurya Bhakthi is of types and Sakhi bhav is one of them, eptomising feminine love. The others are: Swamini Bhav, Para Jana Nayika Bhab and Khandita Bhav.

Jai Shree Krushna ! This particular saakhi means it is a very difficult way to cross the ocean of material existence (bhav-sagar) (on one's own), but with the power of grace of Shree Vallabh and Vitthal, it is crossed instantly ! The whole of Vallabh Saakhi is a sublime glorification of Shree Vallabh by Shree Harirayji. From each of the saakhis, one can derive the nector as much as one can digest! I hope this could clarify. Jai Shree Krushna ! Dharmendra

This can be translated as : Dekhi deha surang yahi, mat bhule man mahi, Shree Vallabh bin aur koi, tero sangi nahi || While looking at this golden body, do not forget in your mind that really except for Shree Vallabh, no one is on your side. This one is a sarcastic comment on those pampering their bodies or going after bodily enjoyment. He indicates that it is ephemeral and the real happiness comes through ananyashray of Shree Vallabh. There are few more on similar lines, e.g. Dekhi deha surang yahi, mat bhule tu ganvaar, haad-maans ki kotdi, bhitar bhari bhangaar || I think the meaning is clear. Jai Shree Krushna ! Dharmendra
