When Shree Bhishma Pitamaha, was sleeping in the bed of thorns, shree Thakorji comes to give him darshan for the last time, as per his promise to him. During his last few moments with the Lord, lauding him and his actions, Shree Bhishma Pitamah, says (as mentioned in Shrimad Bhagwad) that Shri Thakorjis smile (Muskan) is unmatched in this world. One such leela which enlightens us of this unmatched smile is as follows...

Once during Raasleela, Shree thakorji had gathered with all his Sakhas and Shree Swaminiji had gathered with all her sakhis at the Raas bhumi. However, Shree Swaminji expressed her wish to not to have Raas on that day and said her manorath was to do something different. When asked about her Manorath by Shree Thakorji, Shree Swaminji said her manorath was to play hide and seek (Aankh michouni). Shree Thakorji explained to her that in Rass bhoomi there was no place to hide. Shree Swaminiji however prevailed on Shree Thakorji that her wish may be fulfilled. Further Shree Swaminji put forth 3 conditions. The first being that no one should leave the Raas bhoomi, the second one being that the person hiding should be identified in the very first time, without any clues and the third being that no one should seek the help of another person while hiding. Shree Thakorji, had no choice but to accept all this. Making it all the more difficult, Shree Swaminji said that Shree Thakorji should hide first and she will identify him (With so many difficult options, it would be difficult to hide itself). Shree Thakorji agreed to all these, and now the game starts.

Shree Thakorji requested Shree Swaminji to close her eyes for a few moments along with all her sakhis. Shree Swaminiji readily agreed and closed her eyes for a few moments. When she and the sakhis opened their eyes, they were perplexed by what they saw. For now in front of them stood not 1 Shree Thakorji, but all the sakhas through prabhus maya had taken the form of Shree Thakorji. All the sakhis immediately asked Shree Swaminji to accept her defeat, as it was impossible to identify The True form of Shree Thakorji. However, Shree Swaminiji remained calm and asked all the Sakhas to line up. One by one she asked them to smile, and when she reached the 11th sakha, she recognised Shree Thakorji and exclaimed that, he was the True form of his beloved. Shree Thakorji surprised asked her how she was able to identify him. Shree Swaminiji then mentioned that there can be many who may take his form, but there is only one who can smile like him, and that is he himself. It was now the turn of Shree Swaminji to hide. Shree Thakorji and sakhas closed their eyes for a few moments, and were amazed by what they saw when they opened their eyes. In front of them where mounds of Mogra flower kalis, in each one was hiding a sakhi. It was now the turn of the sakhas to go pale. They to urged Shree Thakorji to accept defeat, for at least in their case they were seen in their form, whereas here they could not even see who was hiding in which mound. Shree Thakorji simply moved around the mounds, and found one of them to have flowers instead of kalis, and immediately identified it to be Shree Swaminji. For with Shree Thakorji around, Shree Swaminiji is always happy, and her joy filled sparsh makes the all the kalis happy too and they blossom into flowers. Such is the Smile of Shree Thakorji, that only he can lure his bhakthas with is manda manda muskan, a bhavna so truly felt while doing the Darshan of Shreeji Bawa.

Dear Shreekanthbhai, This indeed a a very good varta. I would like to mention here one point in our day to day seva. If we keenly observe Thakorji we can observe his aalokik faces yet times he appears smiling and yet times just a quite observant... I would say which I've always observed Thakorji shows when he is happy by smiling...if one can only recognise his moods during seva. Please keenly look at his face and you will notice that...his smile makes you feel happy. Jai Shree Krushna Jigna

Jai Shree Krishna This is indeed very true Jigna ben. As per 252 varthas, when we do shringar, if we see smile Shree Thakorjis mukharvind, then it can be infered that our Shringar has been done well and to the liking of Shree Thakorji. Also these expereinces if and when felt should be kept to once own self or shared with once own kin, to whom also our Shree Thakorji gives such darshan.
