Dear Shrikant,
There 16 Wheels on Shri Krishnas Rath 14 on Balbadhra and 12 on Subhadhras Rath...
I am sorry he artice which i read n the same not able trace so couldn't able to put the same...if any one know than please post the same...

According to the information i have, There are 16 wheels is Shri Krishnas Rath, 4 on each side, 12 on Balabhadras Rath- 3 on each side and 8 on Shri Subhadrajis rath - 2 on each side. However, the significance of this numbers is not know. Can anyone help ???

THE SIGNIFICANCE IS DEPICTED IN PURAN AND THE EXPLANATION IS AS FOLLOWS:
KRISHNA .......16 WHEELS= DEPICTS HIS KALA (SHOOD KALA)
BALABHADRA.....12 WHEELS= DEPICTS BAARDISHA RAKHAN FOR PRUTHAVI
SUBHADRAJI......8 WHEELS= DEPICTS VAID VIDHAN SAKTI, THAT IS TWO EACH PER VAIDH, I.E AJURVAAD=2 AND SO ON.
i hope this is what u were asking, correct me if I am wrong.
