Jai Shree Krishna to all Vaishavs

After a long time I am writing. The question asked is very good as the same question kept going in my mind whenever I would listen to any Shreemad Bahgwat katha. Finally with grace of Shree Mahaprabhuji few years back Shree Mathureshji Goswami from Surat visited Bahrain and this question was answered by  his holyness.

Aapshree said that in the Eleventh Canto of Shreemad Bhagwad Shree Krishna had asked all the Vrajwasi to come to Kurukshetra for pilgrimage at the holy lakes. Here Shree Krishna Met with Yashodaji and all that had come from Braj including Radhaji and gopis. As soon as Krishna embraced them one by one, they all entered within him

This is what I have learned.

Jai Shri Krishna!!!

Im trying to put wht i read on this statement::::: As all of us know when Lord Krishna took birth, He gave darshan to DEvkiji n Vasudev in form of Chatrbhuj n asked to leave the child in Vraj n take back the daughter who has taken birth already in form of yogmaya... then he took swaroop of a small kid.... So that small kid had one soul, GOLOKI ATMA, then when he got two more souls tht general human being have  AKSHARATIT PARMATMA'S ATMA n AKSHARBRAHMA's ATMA

Shri Krishna had lived in Vraj for 11 yrs n 52 days so a day prior to leaving Vraj He played Raslila with all Gopis... That time AKSHARATIT PARMATMA'S ATMA n AKSHARBRAHMA's ATMA  left His body so next morning the Krishna who woke up at Nandraiji's house had just one soul, GOLOKI ATMA.... n this Krishna lived with Vrajvasi n Gopis like whole Bhulok was Golok

Then as we know Shri Krishna n Balram left with Akrurji to Mathura with a promise that He'll return to Vraj after four days... Now after reaching Mathura Shri Krishna's Avtarkarya i.e. killing Kans, Chanurmall n all was about to begin... That time the only soul in Krishna was GOLOKI ATMA.... So to begin with Avtarkarya Vishnu Bhagwan's soul having Chaturbhuj, Shank, Chakra, Gada, Padma entered Shri Krishna's body.... n He started His avtra karya with two souls, GOLOKI ATMA N SHRI VISHNU"S ATMA....

After four Day when Nandraiji were returning to Vraj Shri Krishna returned to him His GOPVASTRA n THE GOLOKI  ATMA with him to Vraj... So when Shri Nandraiji returned All vrajwasi i.e Yashodaji, Nandraiji, Shri Radhaji, Gopi,s n Gopbal,s have their Shri Krishna with them.......

Jai Shree Krishna!!

Jai Shree Krishna!!

As we all know Shri Krishna were well knowing about the reason n way He n whole Yadav's shall be ended... (coz of the'shrap' given by Rishi's to Yadav's who did mischief)

So well in advance Shri Krishna wrote two letters one for Arjuna asking him to come to Dwarika to do Shri Krishna's agnisanskar n Shri Balram's asthi-visarjan (coz Shri Krishna were about to do Shri Balram's agnisanskar) n take away anyone (His qeens Mother Father) who wished to come with Arjuna to Hastinapur..

N second one was for His best friend Udhavji asking him to go to Shri Radhaji n getting Her with him to Bansibat in Vrindavan.... n also said tht Shri Krishna shall order him to to do one more thing for Him. As decided both of them got the letters on decided time from Daruk (Krishna's sarthi)

Arjuna did his duty.. Here Udhavji went to Vraj n thought of meeting Gopi's, Sakha, Shri Nandraiji n Yashodaji so he went to Vrindavan n was having Yamuna snan when he heard two old Gopi's talking to each other n staring at him. They asked whether He's Uddhav?? Shri Uddhavji was surprised to know tht they r Lalita n Vishakha... From them Uddhavji came to know tht in last 4-5 dayz (SHRI KRISHNA LEFT HIS BODY JUST 4-5 DAYS BEFORE) Yashodaji Nandraiji many of Gopi's n Sakha's have died only two of them are remaining coz of Shri Radha... They also told tht  Shri Radha was waiting for Uddhav in Vrindavan

Astonished Uddhavji went to Premkunj where Shri Radha was residing... There he herad one beautiful song with 'chaap' of MEERA... So when Uddhav asked Shri Radha abt Meera she said thts Her next avtar..

Then Uddhav told Shri Radha tht Shri Krishna had left His body in Dwarika n is waiting for Her at Vansibat, n had sent Uddhav to take her to Shri Krishna!!! But Shri Radha was not ready to leave the Premkunj n go ahead to meet Shri Krishna (coz of the promise She gave to Shri Krishna before starting Shri Krishna leela tht She will remain apart from Him for 100 years n will never go to meet Him)

So SHri Radha entered in dhyan so did Shri Uddhav Hence Shri Krishna Himself came to Premkunj to take Shri Radha... Here Uddhav had darshan of YuGALSWARUP... Shri Radha's soul met Shri Krishna's soul leaving Her body...

Here Krishna ordered Uddhavji to do agnisanskar of Shri Radha in same dyanmudra under peepal tree.. Uddhav did all arangement n Sudarshan chakra gave five revolution n touched Shri Radha's right toe.... following son's role in Agnisanskar... at same time there in Dwarika Arjuna did Agnisanskar of Shri Krishna in same dyanmudra under peepal tree....

N this way Shri Radha n Shri Krishna entered Golokdham together!!!

Jai Shree Krishna!!

my humble obeisances  to all the devotees
I have a doubt about  what is written above(by monicaji).
si vallabh priya devotee i humbly want to ask you that from where you have read , what you have typed above.
bcause you have used words like "krishna took birth","vishnu aatma","goloki atma","meera as radhaji","krishna and radhaji left their body"
please forgive me if i am offending you because if one will read ,what is written above ,will seem like  a discription of hero (a person like us) of a story and nothing more.krishna is supreme personality of godhead and not a simple person.
words like taking birth ,atma and leaving the body - should not be used with thakurji
Instead of these we should  use ,appearance ,vishnutattva and disppearance respectively.
one humble request is that only bonafide books are recommended for us to study.
Books like Srimad Bhagadvita , Srimad Bhagavatam , Sri Subodhiniji , Shodasha-Granth, etc etc ( Commentary written by Sri Vallabha Acharya himself  and by srigosain balak)
and Some books by AshtaSakha...
My above request is there because of mentioning Meera as Radha herself..( or incarnation )..
I am in doubt about the mentioning of Meera in Pusti-Marg

I am fallen soul and I am very much in learning process, so please correct me if i am wrong anywhere
I will be highly obliged..

Regards,
Tarun kumar gogia

If we are talking about “authentic” scriptures, than none of them mention Shri Radha at all.  Shri Vallabh has mentioned BM Bhagvatam as his praman.  There is no mention of Shri Radha in there, nor any other sakhi by name.

Mahabharat, the other scripture that deals with the life and times of Shri Krushna, is also totally devoid of any mention of any gopi by name.  Mahabharat is an “itihas”, a historical document written by Shri Veda Vyas to “educate” his progeny – remember that the Pandavas and Kauravas along with all their descendants are the progeny of Shri Veda Vyas.  This being a historical document, would have mentioned Shri Radha if she had been there at the time.  Even Shishupal who does not stint on mentioning every little aspect of Shri Krushna’s life in negative light, does not mention His girlfriend(s).  If Shri Radha (or the other sakhis) had been there, Shishupal would have mentioned them to slight Shri Krushna for sure.

The entire cast of gopies and the lilas (daan, hori, pana ghat etc) we ascribe to them was written later by various saints like Shri Nimbakacharya, Jayadev, Shri Chaitanya etc.  Their revelations are the devotional revelations of their journey into their bhav.  There is no “evidence” nor “authenticity” about what they say.  It is their bhav and their feelings that are expressed.

This does not negate or denigrate their experience.  All I am trying to say is, there is no “evidence” for Shri Radha or any such gopi(es) in the original scriptures.  So search of any such nature is bound to come up empty handed.  You can read about what the Gaudia sect says, or what Meerabai sings or what the Astachaps have sung in later times, but, none of this is based on the SM Bhagvatam or any other scripture that is considered tobe a “praman” by Shri Vallabh.  Later Goswami balaks adopted the lilas they saw being celebrated in Vraj at the time.

BTW – to negate Meerabai as a saint is a foolish attitude.  She is not mentioned in Pushti Marg because it was prudent at the time not to include her into any sect at the time.  She came from Mewar, a state the Moguals were at war with.  There is no way she would have been welcome in Vraj at the time.  Both the Gaudia and Pushti sects that were actively growing at the time did not want to have an “enemy of the state” in their sect.  It would not be conducive to good relationship with the government.

Later, when Mewar was defeated, there was even less reason to admit her into our sect.  Pushti Marg was patronised (please don’t argue about the word, it’s a historical fact) by royals of various states and once again it was prudent not to accept Meerabai as a “saint” as this would send the wrong signal to the ladies of these royal houses.  As she had deliberately discarded the rigid rules of how royalty should live, she was an outcast even in later times and as a result has never been included in Gaudia or Pushti sect.

Meerabai was well aware of all this.  She was a saint, but she was also a princess.  She knew how people thought and behaved and why.  Hence she never forced the issue and asked for advise and guidance when she wanted it from the various living saints at the time.  BUT, she carved her own niche in the world of poet saints.  It’s a major achievement as she did this without the help of any “sect” or institution that would support her.  She did well to survive in a male dominated world of 15th Century when women were forced to toe the line.  Her faith in Girdhar Gopal was absolute.  Her “bharoso” in her Thakorji was so strong, she managed to go around at a time when no woman would dare do it on her own.  Can we not learn something from this ?

Let us grow up and accept her as a visionary saint of extraordinary talent and courage.  For far too long Pushti Margi vaishnavs have denied her that right.  We no longer live in the medieval times, nor do we have the blinkers of social rules that clouded the world at that time.  Let us be more open hearted and see in her the spark of divine love that we are all aspiring to achieve.

Sorry if this post offends or upsets some of you, but, we have to accept facts as they are – about Shri Radha and Shri Meerabai.

Please accept my humble obeisances !!! I want to add a point to the above post.If the respected Devotee treats the Granth 84 Vaishnavo ki Varta as authentic source , then mentioning of Radhaji ( Swaminiji ) is there by Sri Hariray Mahaprabhuji. He has mentioned the appearance of Sri Radha Rani in Vrshabhanu's House. Surdasji also described as Antaranga Sakhi of Swaminiji , so there is no doubt about the existence of Radha Rani , her Sakhis .. in the scriptures... Many other Puranas specifically deal with Radha Rani's Appearance , her life , and Disappearance etc , they are namely 1 Brahma Purana 2 Brhad Gautamiya Tantra 3 Radha Upanishad ( from Rig Veda ) 4 Garg Samhita ( Dwakara khand ) and many... Please forgive this fallen soul for any offences .. I am very much in learning process. Please do correct me .. if i am wrong anywhere .. Regards tarun kumar gogia
