It is well Known that Shri Vallabhacharya went to Pandharpur where Shri Vithobaji gave order to Shri Mahaprabhuji to get married as the Lord want to to be born as son of Shri Mahaprabhuji. Following the order Shri Mahaprabhuji got married and had two sons. Gopinathji and Vitthalnathji. We always believed Vitthalnathji as Incarnation of Shri Vithobaji. My delima is why we believe Shri Vitthalnathji as incarnation of Lord Vithoba and not Shri Gopinathji, because Lord Vithoba never told Shri Mahabrabhiji if He will be born as Elder son or Younger son?

One incident I think that can prove it::::: The time when Shri Gusainji prabhu Shri Vitthalnathji took birth a vaishnav came to Shri Mahaprabhuji Shri Vallabhadhishji's house n did padhramni of swaroop of Shri Vitthalnathji..

First of all Shri Vithobaji did not gave order to Shri Mahaprabhuji, it was Shri Nathji who has given the order infront of Shri vithobaji to get married, and he will come as a child in his house.

At NavAkhyan Book Akhyan No 2, It is described;
Baldev Shri Gopinath kahiye Shri VitthalNandaanand;
Te Ved Panth Vistarse, Jan Aapse Aanand II24II
At Shrimad Gokul Shri Mahaprabhuji got a glimpse of Nandanandan Shri Krishna and Shri Baladev, at that time Shri Mahaprabhuji realized that it's lords wish who want to take birth at my house as a son. Thinking this Shri Mahaprabhuji was very happy. Aapshri thought to keep Shri Baldev’s name as Shri Gopinathji since he is Veda Swaroop and will spread Veda Marg. Nandanandan Shri Krishna’s name will be Shri Vitthalnathji, as Nandakumar himself is Rasatmak Purushottam and will be provider of Ultimate Bliss (Parmananda) to the divine soul.

Vithhalnathji is not incarnation of Vithobaji not same swaroop but purnpurushottam Himself
Asparsh rite Vithobajima prakat thaine aa kahelu. in vallabhakhyan clearly mentioned te purushottam prakatshe

There are many more pramans available that clearly indicate that Shree Vithalnathji is the form of Shree Purnapurushotam prabhu - including the one in the Garga sanhita.
