Please tell me what is "Holi Danda Ropan"? Why do we do this and what is the reason to do this?

To the best of my knowledge Danda Ropan means the day they do the ropan of Jowar ( khet ma jowar na seeds sow karwana) n to put the sticks for burning Holi i.e the place the Holi is burnt n i was told that 4 sticks are placed. Also from the day Holi danda ropan begins generally any auspicious function, surgery etc is not done until Dhulati ( second day of holi).
Please correct me if i'm wrong and apology for the same.

I think so Yogini ben is right. I would like more vaishnav's to give their views so that Ami, Yoginiben & also myself will get the knowledge about it.
