Well, monica ji, It was a daily routine for the gopis to carry  Milk and curd from Gokul to Mathura. On this day as they were proceeding, Natkhat Kanhaiyaa and his friends stooped them proceeding, at the narrow lane of daan ghaati, and demanded tax, by way of Curd and milk. The Gopis, obviously annoyed, asked the resoning behind such a tax. Lot of arguments happened between the Gopis and Shree thakorji and his friends. Finally Kanhaiyya and his friends, break the mutkis and forcefully take the Curd and milk, eat it to their content and offer ther est to the monkeys.

Monica ji is what happened. Now who gave than to whom, and for the leela bhaav, hope other Vaishnavs wil contribute.....

From this day for the next twenty days, Shree Thakorji is offered Dahi in various forms. Also during htese days, Shree Vallabhkul are krupalu to accept Daan offered to them. That is, in our samraday, we present our offerings to Shree Vallabhkul at their Feet, however during this period, they accept the daan in their hands, as Shree Thakorji himself did so.
