Jai Shree Krishna, Goonja Mala topic has already been discussed on this forum and recently very well explained by Mr. Natkhat recently. Also the topic is explained properly on Yamna site. But I would still like to know the bhaav behind white beads goonja Mala which is offered to Thakorji on Akshay Truithiya day, the official start of summer season. My question is similar to Reetaben question. So, let's see if anyone can answer. Regds Jigna

jay shree krishna! the reason behind white gunja mala may because white colour helps to keep thakurji cool in the hot summer season & red is not used because it attracts heat.

Jayshrikrishna, Jignaben, there is also another change in seva prakar from axay trutiya that is white mati na zari-kunja. I think this is cause white color represents satvikta & coolness ( thandak ). this is why we offer white gunja mala in summer seva riti.
