Was there any special reason (apart from glory) for which Lord Krihsna allowed Abhimanyu to get killed? Lord Krishna was his guru but never thought him how to get out of Chakraview. In the case of Gadotkach, the Lord allowed him to get killed in the hands of Karna so that Arjun could be saved from the divine powers with Karna.
