Jai Shree Krsna, What u both have said is right, one more thing what one learns fom the 2nd n 3rd skand of Bhagwat is not to hurt any one, n the punishments for the wrongs one dose, if u read the 2nd n 3rd skand of the bhagwat carefully n understand it well i'm positive that even while u r waling u will make sure that u don't kill an ant. It teaches a lot n ever thme u read the bhagwat u come accross new teachings. yogini Yogini

Jay Shri Krishna. To list benifits of Shrimad Bhagvat is not possible.In short it is KALPTARU. you will get what you desire.It is VAGMAYA SVARUP OF SHRINATHJI. Jai Shri Krishna Shrimad Bhagwat consists of 12 chapters those are described as 12 parts of Gods Anga. If Shrimad Bhagwat is read with concentration with its essence and spirit through ardent devotion and meditating Leelas of the Lord Shri Krishna and conscious would be unified with Lord. While departing this world Lord Krishna consoled Uddhava by saying dont worry you will not miss Me as "I am ever (will always reside) in Shrimad Bhagwat" Vasant

Jai Shri Krishna Further submit that Srimad Bhagwat was written by Shri Vedavyas was the last and has written after not having contended and had peace in spite of writing down all scriptures and to have " MAna Shanti " on advice of Naradji concentrated the theme on GUNGAAN.
